Fateful Accident

Sapphire's POV :

It's 3:30pm and I just finished school. Now I'm on my way to dad's company.

Though from a rich family, I don't really like being in the spotlight. Since young, I don't have many genuine friends since they either get close to me because of my status or they're just too afraid to mess with me.

I like things simple. Hence, I kept my identity hidden and attend a normal high school. I don't like drivers driving me around, I don't like arranged marriages and dull business meetings. Although I'll soon take over my dad's company, I prefer doing what every normal lives do. I find it fun and I'm really happy now.

Thankfully my parents gave me my freedom and not tying me to fancy but boring traditions like all rich families have. They love me very much and are very open minded so they don't mind me being the way I am right now.

Right, before I reached there, I stopped by a cake shop. I gotta say, their cakes are really delicious and I've been visiting every week. You can say I'm a regular.

So I bought some slices of chocolate, red velvet, tiramisu cakes, an Americano for my dad and a hazelnut latte for my mum.

After paying, I walked to dad's company.

Then suddenly, a car flew past, almost at the verge of knocking me over. Due to the shock I fell down, knees scraped, causing blood to flow out. The car stopped and a person came out.

"Hey! Do you not know how to drive properly?! I'm hurt because of your carelessness!"

"Sorry, miss. It was my fault that you're hurt but my boss is in a hurry." I guess this person is the driver.

"Ask your boss to come out! Even if he's in a hurry, you shouldn't drive recklessly! Does he think the road is his?!"

Then another person came out of the car.

But WOW! Never have I seen such a handsome man before. He was tall with dark hair, built figure and such mysterious eyes. The perfect package at that!

But wait, that's not the point right now!

"Hey, I want you to apologize to me. I got hurt and all my food is ruined now because of you!"

He looked at me, scanning from top to bottom. I was intimidated by his stares.

Zeus's POV :

I am running extremely late to my appointment with the Johnson Group due to some bastards who wasted my precious time.

I asked my driver to speed it up. Just then, the car braked suddenly. Seems like a girl fell down. Ha...seriously just my luck.

I told my driver to handle it quickly but it sounded like she's really mad. And it's really bothersome so I decided to get down as well.

As I got down, the smell of blood awakened me. My eyes fell on her and scanned her thoroughly from the top to bottom. She was beautiful, wearing her high school uniform. Her blue eyes, dark hair and milky white skin captivated me. She was beautiful indeed.

Then I noticed she grazed her knees, that's why there's the smell of blood. A very sweet and fragrant smell. One that I've never smelled before.

She yelled, "Hey, I want you to apologize to me. I got hurt and all my food is ruined now because of you!"

She was loud and caught a lot of attention. Within a second, I carried her up and threw her into the car seat.

"Hey! What are you doing?! Are you kidnapping me?!?!"

She struggled and shouted.

I grabbed her hand tightly. She was really testing my patience.

"Sit still. You're hurt."

I told her dominantly.

She kept quiet.

The smell of her was really tempting me. I couldn't control myself and I licked her. Holy shit, it was so sweet.

"Ahh!! What are you doing???!!! You pervert!!! Bastard!!! Get off of me!!!"

I looked at her embarrassed faced and smirked. "Well I do not have any first aid kit with me so just bear with it."

"Mhmm...it hurts!"

Damn, she sounded so sexy.

After a while, she stopped struggling and stay seated obediently.

"Where are you heading? I'll drop you off."

"Johnson Group please."

"Johnson Group? Why?"

"It's none of your business. Just let me get off if you aren't willing to drop me."

Then I told my driver to start driving. However, just when we about a few metres from the main entrance, she told the driver to stop.

Sapphire's POV :

"Why?" He asked me.

"I'll just get off here." I didn't want to catch attention.

"Anyways, thanks for dressing my wound. Although my food and drinks are ruined because of you."

He smirked after I frustratingly stated while I got off. But strangely, the pain lessened and even the wound healed a bit. Hmm strange...

Whatever. As I entered, some employees greeted me. I smiled back.

Then I went to my dad's chamber, while I told Ms Amy, my dad's assistant to tell him I was here. She told me they are having a meeting now. It was fine.

As I sat down on the sofa, I couldn't help but think about the man I met just now....
