Every time Liam tried to turn his head away, or tried to catch his breath for even a moment, she would grab his chin, force his face back towards her, her eyes burning into his.

“Look at me,” she would order, her voice rough and commanding. “Look at who is making you feel this good. Look at who owns every part of you. Say it, Liam. Tell me who you belong to.”

“You, Serena!” Liam would cry out, his voice hoarse and breathless, tears of overstimulation running down his flushed cheeks. “Only you! I belong only to you! Nobody else! Please… please, only you!”

“That’s right,” she would purr, satisfied, and take him even harder, pushing him right to the very edge of his limits, until he was nothing more than a trembling, weeping mess beneath her, completely hers in every way possible.

By the time the night finally ended, the sun was already beginning to paint the sky grey outside. Liam lay curled against her chest, completely exhausted, his body sore and marked all over, barely able to lift a finger, his mind completely empty of everything except her name and the overwhelming feeling of being loved, claimed, and owned.

Serena lay beside him, her fingers running slowly and gently through his messy hair — the softest, most tender touch she had given him all night. The cold, ruthless queen was gone again; in her place was the woman who worshipped this boy more than life itself. She kissed his forehead softly, her eyes dark with adoration.

“Did you learn your lesson, my sweet boy?” she whispered.

Liam nodded sleepily, snuggling closer into her side, pressing a soft, shy kiss against her collarbone. “Yes, Serena. I promise. I won’t let anyone get close again. I only want you.”

“Good.” She smirked, satisfied, her hand rubbing soothing circles over a particularly dark bruise on his hip. “Because if you forget again… I will punish you again. And next time, it will be even rougher. I will make sure you are so thoroughly mine that no one will ever dare look at you, and you will never even think of looking at anyone else.”

She meant every word.

That was the way they worked. She was the danger, the protector, the owner, the judge and the executioner. He was her soft, sweet, precious treasure, the only thing in the whole world she cared about. She killed for him, she ruled for him, she would burn down the entire world if anyone ever dared hurt or take him away. And when her jealousy flared, when she felt like he needed reminding, she would take him roughly, wildly, claiming him body and soul, marking him as her property again and again.

And Liam? Liam wouldn’t have it any other way. He loved her coldness, her possessiveness, her obsession. He loved that the most terrifying woman in the whole world was completely wrapped around his little finger. He loved that even when she was punishing him, hurting him in the sweetest way possible, it was just her way of saying: You are mine. I love you more than anything. And I will never let you go.

A few days later, he walked into his university classroom, his sweater pulled high around his neck, hiding the marks she had left there, a soft, happy little smile on his face. When that same classmate from before tried to approach him again, leaning in with that same familiar grin, Liam immediately stepped back, shaking his head quickly, his eyes wide and serious.

“I’m sorry,” he said, his voice soft but firm. “Please don’t come too close. You know… I belong to Serena.”

And the boy paled instantly, stepping away as if burned, remembering exactly who Liam belonged to, and how dangerous that woman was.

From across the street, leaning against her car and watching through the window, Serena smiled — a rare, genuine, beautiful smile that only ever appeared when she was looking at him.

That’s right, she thought, lighting a cigarette, her eyes glowing with dark pride. Everyone knows. Everyone remembers. He is mine. And no one, absolutely no one, will ever be allowed to take him away from me.
