Avni and Mira sat inside the room, Mira was teaching Avni shading techniques.

''I never knew all this type of things were imp to learn drawing, ugh I am tired, I think I am done for the day''

''What, already, you didn't even learn anything properly''

''Fine, let's take a break''

Mira chuckled at Avni's cuteness, but she had to admit it that Avni behaved too mature at times, and she was the one who woke her up on time every morning and made her hair

''Tell me more about your family, like how was it when you lived with your parents, where all did go and what places did you like the best''

''Well to be honest I was not close to my parents, they were barely home and I lived in a big house alone with a servant, she used to attend all the school meetings, and I was not allowed to go on trips, my parents came home once a month, and we used to have a quite dinner, and then again the next morning they would be gone even before I woke up, they were never with me on any of my birthday's it was always me and the servant who celebrated my 10 birthdays together.''

Avni looked at her as if it was the worst decision to ask her about her family….

''Umm maybe Mira we should just stop here for today, chal waapas se drawing karte hain.''

Mira looked at her and said

''Jaisa tum chaho''

Hearing this she knew she had f****d up\, she tightly hugged Mira all of a sudden and stroked her\, and soon Mira started crying.

''Aaj tum jitna chahti ho rolo aaj tumhe koi nahi rokega''

hearing this she started to sob harder, after sometime Avni heard small sniffles, she looked at her and saw she had calmed down a bit but kept rubbing her back

''I feel fine, now u can stop rubbing my back''

and she detached herself from

''You know I never had a decent friend, all of them teased me for bringing a maid to the school meeting and functions, not just that they also said that I was their adopted daughter, and they didn't love me''

she started crying again and hugged Avni again

A sound of knocking was heard.

Avni opened her eyes due to the knocking sound when she saw the clock it showed 9:30 pm she then looked at down to find Mira sleeping in her lap

the knocking came again, she replaced herself with a near lying pillow and opened the door

an attendant was standing outside

''Avni why didn't you come for lunch are you alright dear''

''Haan mai theek hun bas galti se ankh lag gayi thi''

then she turned and looked that Mira was still asleep

'' Kya aap mere liye aur Mira ke liye aaj khana room me dedengi??

She looked inside and saw Mira sleeping on the floor

''Accha theek hai par sirf aaj ke liye, agar aisa dubara kiya to bina khaye sona''

she said it in an angry but soft voice, Avni smiled at her, knowing that she was trying to threaten her

''Agar aisa dubara hoga to app hame uthakar apne aap khiladena''

she looked at Avni but then a smile broke out on her face

within minutes she brought food in 2 plates and handed it to Avni

''khakar plate yahi bahar rakh dena mai uthalungi''

after placing the food on the bed she tried to wake Mira up from her slumber

''Mira uthna aur kitna soyegi''

she tried to shake her softly so that she doesent startle her from her sleep

Mira suddenly flinched and woke up to see Avni sitting with a scrunched face

she sat and rubbed her eyes softly

Mira turned her head towards the clocl to see it was 9:47 she widened her eyes

''tumne mujhe itni late kyu uthaya, hamne dinner time miss kardiya''

''wo mai bhi sogayi thi thoda bas kuch der pehle hi uthi''

''Aaj bhukhe hi sona padega shayad''

Avni stood up from her place and sat on bed

''Ab jaldi uth aur khana khale''

''Ye yahan, tu kab layi ye yahan''

''wo Anika didi hai na atteneder unhone la karke diya, ab aa aur jald khale warna me tera bi khalungi''

she excitedly got up and washed her face and sat on the bed beside her

''Ye hamara first time hai saath me room me baith kar khane ka, lets take a pic for memory''

she took out her phone and snapped few pics with her in weird poses

they both finished eating and after placing the plates outside Mira again wrapped her arms arounf Avni

''Thankyou for hearing me out i am glad i met you''

Avni just patted her head

''Agar tum kuch aur share karna chaho to u are always welcome''

Mira hugged her and fell back asleep

AVNI'S POV

I am sorry Mira i cant tell you anyhting about me, mai kkhud mere baare me nahi jaanti, meri mom margayi thi jab mai sirf 2 saal ki thi and tab se mai yahan hun, ab jo bi mere friends bane wo sab test ke liye the ki mai kuch unhe apne baare me na batadun par tum first aisi ho jise mai sach me frnd maan sakti hun, i feel so bad ki u are sharing everyhting with me trusting me slowly but i cant share the little bit of the truth i know I am so sorry

she kissed her forehead and fell asleep while thinking about the things Mira told her
