The trial of morality!

Gautam thinking with a shocked and disbliefed face "what?" "Kill victoria?" "Why?"

"What's the need to kill her"

"But if I don't kill her the system will disappear"

"I can't survive without the system"

"I didn't have any magic in me"

"Should I kill her"

Gautam looks at Victoria and decides

"No i can't kill her"

"She has taken me to the kingdom and provided me shelter"

"I can't repay her kindness by killing her"

"Even if it means losing the system"

Gautam looks at the quest and rejects it.

Suddenly another notification appears saying

"You have completed the quest"

Gautam confused just looks at the notification

And system explains that it was a fake quest to see the user's internal intentions and if the user completes that Quest the system will deactivate himself.

Gautam thinking "that was a fake quest"

"That's why it told me to kill her out of nowhere"

"Even if it wasn't, i can't kill her ever"

Upasna watching gautam for a while asks him

"Gautam are you alright"

"What are you doing by yourself"

Gautam suddenly gets aware of his surrounding says to her "yes I am fine"

"I was just lost in a thought"

King magnus says "As for your reward gautam i shall gift you a mansion of your own"

Gautam as soon as he heard "mansion"

Says" no sire I can't accept such a expensive gift"

Everyone whispers "he denied a mansion"

"How can someone deny a mansion"

Gautam says "if you want to reward me sire, I choose to live here at the castle"

"It would be easier to train the hero that way"

King magnus replies "yes it would be but is that all you want"

Everyone whispering "he rejected a mansion and only want to live in the castle"

"He is really something else"

Gautam replies"yes sire"

King magnus "Very well than i dismiss the today's meeting"

Everyone leaving the room except gautam upasna, king and Victoria along with some knights.

Gautam Starts leaving then suddenly king stops him and says "where are you going"

"I have to thank you for saving my daughter's life"

Gautam "but sire you thanked me already"

King magnus "No that was a formal thanks."

"Now"

"Thank you very much gautam for saving my foolish daughter's life"

Victoria beside her father gets angry and says "father!"

King magnus asks gautam again "but are you sure you don't want anything else"

Gautam replies "no sire I didn't save victoria for any reward"

"I saved her because it was the right thing to do"

King magnus "that's strange"

"Anyone else might have asked for more but you didn't even accept any reward"

"You really are of a kind gautam"

Gautam "i humbly thank you for the respect sire"

King magnus "we will meet again at the Lunch, now you can go to your rooms"

Gautam and upasna leaves the throne room.

Gautam asks her "so what kind of power you got upasna"

Upasna "i don't know"

"I really don't feel anything different"

"After Summoning, they only essed my basic stats and i have all five elements"

"They said they can't see the ability given by God"

"Only the heroes can see it"

Gautam thinking "all five elements! Here I am with none of them"

"It didn't even came after the main quests"

"It just gave me the skill called magic resistance"

"It says it can defend against magical attacks only proportional to the endurance of the user"

Gautam "so you met God?"

Upasna "No i was just going home and caught up in a magic circle and got here"

"why do you ask?"

Gautam again thinking "should I tell about system now?"

"No,That might not be the good idea for now"

Gautam replies "ofcourse for your training silly"

"Why would I ask otherwise"

"I have to know about your powers to train you"

Upasna blushing in embarrassment "ohh yeah"

"Silly me"

Gautam thinking "she is just like as always"

Upasna thinking "I am talking to him for the second time and yet it feels so comfortable"

Upasna says "this might be sound strange to you but talking to you feels very comfortable to me"

"After coming here I was very consufed and nervous but after seeing you I felt relieved"

"I don't know why"

Gautam hides his emotions and says nothing

After upasna goes to her room

Gautam also goes to his room and changes to his usual clothes he removes his shirt

And starts training as he doesn't trained himself for quite a time while thinking "so she doesn't have a system like me"

"So why I have a system?"

"Anyways why don't I am the only one without magic" with a sad face.

After few hours, he got all sweaty

Suddenly victoria comes to his room along with upasna.

Both stares at his sweaty body and immediately turns around blushing.

Both shouts "why are you shirtless"

Gautam put on his shirt and says

"I was training so I removed it"

"While training i feel comfortable with shirt"

Both turns to gautam.

Victoria says "get ready"

"It's lunch time"

"My father is waiting"

Gautam "oh it's already lunch time"

"I trained for quite a time"

Upasna "are you training since we got into our rooms from throne room?"

Gautam "yes that's why I said that"

Victoria and upasna both shocked.

Both says "seriously! But you don't look a bit exhausted"

"It's been 5-6 hours since then"

Gautam "really is that a big deal"

Thinking with confusion "really training for few hours without exhaustion is not normal?"

Both says "are you serious"

"Ofcourse it is no one can do that"

Victoria "you are a monster gautam"

Upasna thinking "he trained for that long and shows not even a little exhaustion"

Upasna says "you are really stronger than me"

Then they both gets outside.

Gautam comes outside after changing his clothes.

Then they all started walking to the dining room.
