The first day of university was always chaotic.
Students carrying suitcases rushed across campus. Parents gave endless advice. Seniors directed newcomers toward different buildings while staff members tried their best to maintain order.
Among the crowd stood a young Omega with dark hair and calm eyes.
Lucien Vale quietly adjusted the strap of his backpack.
Unlike many freshmen around him, he wasn't excited.
Nor was he nervous.
He simply wanted to survive the day without drawing attention to himself.
After all, making friends had never been his strong point.
Taking a small breath, Lucien looked down at the campus map on his phone.
"Haneul University..."
The prestigious university looked even larger in person.
Several paths branched in different directions.
Within ten minutes, Lucien realized he was lost.
"..."
Wonderful.
The semester hadn't even started yet.
After wandering for another few minutes, he eventually spotted a group of seniors wearing student council badges.
Lucien hesitated before approaching.
"Excuse me."
The seniors turned around.
One look at their faces made Lucien regret his decision.
Cold.
That was the first word that came to mind.
The tallest student stood in the center, holding several documents in one hand.
Sharp features.
Expressionless eyes.
An overwhelming presence.
Aurelian Ashford.
Even Lucien, who had only arrived today, recognized him immediately.
The famous Student Council President.
Beside him stood another senior with broad shoulders and a powerful build.
Cassian Sterling.
Captain of the football team.
And next to them—
A young man with silver-black hair and icy eyes.
Orion Everhart.
The legendary Ice Prince.
The Three Kings of Haneul University.
For a brief moment, nobody spoke.
The atmosphere became strangely suffocating.
Lucien almost wanted to turn around and leave.
Almost.
"I'm looking for Hall C," he said politely.
Aurelian glanced at him.
No greeting.
No smile.
Just a brief look.
Then he pointed toward a building in the distance.
"Straight ahead."
His voice was calm and cold.
Lucien followed his gaze.
"Oh."
"Thank you."
Aurelian simply nodded once.
Cassian looked away.
Orion didn't react at all.
The interaction lasted less than thirty seconds.
Lucien wasn't offended.
The rumors about them had clearly been accurate.
They weren't rude.
Just... difficult to approach.
"Thank you for your help."
After bowing politely, Lucien walked away.
Within moments, he disappeared into the crowd.
Silence followed.
None of the three paid him much attention.
To them, he was simply another freshman.
Nothing more.
Aurelian lowered his gaze back to the documents.
Cassian continued organizing orientation activities.
Orion checked the messages on his phone.
The brief encounter was forgotten almost immediately.
Or so they thought.
Meanwhile, several minutes later...
Lucien was lost again.
"..."
He stared at the campus map.
Then at the building.
Then back at the map.
How had he managed to get lost after receiving directions?
Before he could figure it out, another voice suddenly spoke nearby.
"You're lost too?"
Lucien blinked.
A boy with brown hair stood a few steps away.
There was an amused smile on his face.
"Hall C?" the boy asked.
Lucien nodded.
The stranger immediately sighed.
"Thank goodness."
"I thought I was the only one."
For the first time that morning, Lucien almost smiled.
"...You too?"
"Yep."
The boy extended a hand.
"Adrian Ashford."
Lucien shook it.
"Lucien Vale."
Neither of them knew it yet.
But that simple handshake would become the beginning of friendships capable of changing all of their lives.
And perhaps...
The beginning of a story that would one day connect a lonely moon with three stars.
