The Bargain

As Pan places the heart inside Rumpelstiltskin suddenly there was a burst of darkness and a dark entity came out.

"Well well well if it isn't dear old Malcolm trying to bring your son back. Are we??"

Pan's jaw clenched at unknown entity, "Who're you??

The Entity simply laughed, "I'm God of Reincarnation. Life for life is the oldest trick. Isn't it?? But your son isn't just any soul."

Pan's eyes narrowed, "What do you want?? Name the price."

The Entity looked at Pan, "I want something special from you."

Pan snarled, "I'll give you anything to save my son. What is it?? My youth?? My Immortality??"

The Entity laughed darkly, "Oh! Dear. You're still so naive, Malcolm. I don't want your youth. Neither do I want your Immortality. Nor your life. It's something special. Really special."

Pan's jaw clenched, "Don't play riddles with me."

Dark Entity finally turned to face him, "I want something you treasure."

Pan stared at the faceless Entity, "I treasure nothing."

The Entity chuckled, sound coming from its faceless mouth, "That was true once."

Entity looked at Rumpelstiltskin and continued, "But not anymore."

Pan's blood ran cold, "Don't look at my son like that."

The Entity just looked at him unfazed by his threats, "Give me the blood bond between Father and son. Your name will vanish from his story. Every memory connecting the two of you will be consumed."

Suddenly Pan realized what he's losing.

Not Power.

Not Magic.

His Son.

Not physically.

Emotionally.

Spiritually.

Completely.

Pan closed his eyes for a moment, "To save my son I must cease being his Father. I must remove the blood bond connecting us. Rumple won't be my son anymore. He and I will share no memory, no blood....... no relation. Please proceed."

The Dark Entity started the spell.

Meanwhile, the heroes who finally noticed Rumple's body is gone.

Regina, Hook, Belle, Zelena and Henry tracked Pan to Neverland.

They burst into the cave just as Dark Entity is sealing the bargain.

Magic from Regina and Zelena clashes with the ritual.

The blood sacrifice, resurrection spell and Neverland magic all crash together.

The cave shook violently.

Cracks spread across the stone floor.

Hundreds of hearts shattered at once.

Green magic erupted from Neverland itself.

Rumple's body rose from the altar.

The Dark Entity stepped backward.

For the first time, it looked afraid, "Impossible."

Everyone started yelling.

Pan : What have you idiots done??

Regina : What were you trying to do to Rumpelstiltskin?? He's already gone.

Pan : I was trying to bring him back.

Hook : Why would you do that??

Pan : Because he's my son.

Regina stared at him.

For once, there was no sarcasm.

No manipulation.

No trick.

Peter Pan looked terrified.

Not for himself.

For Rumple.

Zelena : You had a funny way of showing that.

Pan : That was past. I am trying to change for my boy. I was a villain, but I never wanted to see my boy dead and unresponsive.

Dark Entity : SILENCE. THE SPELL WENT WRONG.

Pan : What do you mean?? Bring my son back.

The Entity laughed.

"You wanted life."

"You wanted redemption."

"Now reality itself will pay the price."

Before Pan could say anything, he fainted. Others fainted too. The Dark smoke filled the cave.

Rumple's eyes opened.

For a fraction of a second.

He looked directly at Pan.

Recognition flickered there.

Father.

Son.

Then the world exploded into light.

Peter loses his connection to Rumpelstiltskin.

Everybody loses their memory of Pan.

The spell spirals out of control.

The Entity laughed, "Foolish mortals. The price has already been accepted. You cannot stop it now."
