Episode 3 – Love-Struck Fool

After hearing everything Bral had told her, Rosaline felt as though she were dreaming.

None of this could possibly be real.

For a moment, she wondered if she was hallucinating.

She let out a small laugh.

"No... I'm perfectly fine."

She looked at the man standing in front of her.

"But I'm pretty sure he's the one who's completely out of his mind."

Bral sighed.

"No, I'm not crazy. And no, I don't use anything that clouds my mind. I'm simply telling you the truth."

He continued his explanation.

"Ma'am, with this coin, you can travel across the multiverse."

"You'll find your husband."

"You'll fall in love again."

"You'll marry him."

"Then you'll move on to the next universe... and then the next."

"This cycle will continue until you've completed seven universes."

"After the seventh one, you'll return to your own universe."

He looked at her with complete seriousness.

"And you'll finally be able to live happily with your husband."

Rosaline remained silent.

Bral continued,

"We know how your husband died."

"We know how deeply the two of you loved each other."

"That's exactly why I came to find you."

He smiled faintly.

"My second customer was just like you."

"She loved her husband more than anything."

He chuckled.

"'I just want my husband back.'"

Bral looked at Rosaline.

"I think your love for your husband is just as strong."

Rosaline folded her arms.

"And by the way..."

Bral smiled.

"My name is Bral."

Rosaline groaned.

"Again?"

"Why do you keep repeating your name?"

He laughed.

"Because that's how you'll remember it."

Then he frowned dramatically.

"My previous customer never remembered."

"He kept calling me 'Braddy.'"

Rosaline couldn't help but smile.

"So..."

"How do I use this coin?"

"It's simple."

"Just flip it."

"The moment you do, you'll enter the first universe."

"I'll communicate with you through telepathy."

"My voice will appear in your mind."

"I'll guide you."

"I'll also make sure your identity naturally fits into that universe."

He shrugged.

"You'll have to make your husband fall in love with you all over again."

Rosaline laughed.

"Right."

"I understand."

The truth was...

She didn't believe a single word.

Rosaline had always been a realist.

She believed in facts, not fantasies.

Bral cleared his throat.

"The moment you leave this universe, time here will stop for you."

"When you finish one universe, you'll return to this exact room at this exact moment."

"And after completing all seven universes..."

"You'll return here once more."

He looked toward the empty bed.

"And this time..."

"Your husband will be sleeping right there."

Rosaline looked at the bed.

For a brief moment...

She wanted to believe him.

Even if it was only false hope.

She slowly reached out...

...and took the golden coin into her hand.

"So..."

"How exactly does it work?"

Bral smiled and showed her several videos on his phone of previous travelers using the coin.

"It's easy."

"Just flip it..."

"...and your journey into the first universe will begin."
