Starting

Kang Suju was a slightly chubby girl with thick, medium-length hair. She enrolled in 6th grade at a new school. Because of her appearance, many of her classmates bullied her, so she preferred to stay alone most of the time.

As time passed, she became friends with a girl in her class named Sujin. Sujin was very beautiful, with long hair that reached her waist. Almost everyone in the class admired her.

One day...

One day, Sujin made fun of Kang Suju's body in front of everyone. She laughed and said, "You're so fat. If you ever fell on me, I'd probably die."

Hearing those words broke Kang Suju's heart. She felt deeply hurt and ran out of school in tears.

Kang Suju had a small daily habit that brought her comfort—every day, she would feed a stray cat that lived near her house.

Crying, Kang Suju went to see the stray cat she fed every day. The little cat started playing with her, which slowly lifted her mood and made her smile again.

A few moments later, she noticed a boy standing in the distance. He was about 6'0" tall, fair-skinned, and incredibly handsome. The moment Kang Suju saw him, she couldn't take her eyes off him.

She thought the boy was probably much older than her.

The next day, Kang Suju came to school. Sujin walked up to her and said, "I honestly didn't think my words would hurt you that much. I'm sorry."

Kang Suju gave a small smile and replied, "It's okay. Everyone says things like that to me anyway."

Sujin smiled softly.

A few moments later, the teacher entered the classroom and said, "Class, we have a new student joining us today. Please welcome him and get to know him."

Then, Cheng Muka walked into the classroom.

The moment Kang Suju saw him, her eyes widened in surprise. He was the same handsome boy she had seen the day before.

Everyone in the classroom stared at Cheng Muka in amazement, including Kang Suju. His handsome appearance immediately caught everyone's attention.

Amid the crowd of curious faces, Muka looked at Suju for a few seconds. Sujin quietly noticed that brief glance but didn't say anything.

From that day on, Cheng Muka became a part of their class and attended school with them every day.

Suju came to school by the class bus, but Muka always walked because he lived nearby. Since the class bus arrived much earlier, Suju reached school almost two hours before classes started.

Muka was an excellent student. He also had a habit of arriving at school two hours early every day.

As a result, before the other students arrived, only Suju and Muka would be in the classroom.

They spent a lot of time together in the same classroom almost every morning before school started. Even though they were alone together for hours, neither of them ever spoke to the other.
