The Royal Blood
CHARACTERS IN THIS CHAPTER:
BIRAJ (18): Our protagonist. Thin, looks exhausted, wears a faded government school uniform. He has sharp eyes hidden behind messy hair. Working three part-time jobs in Kathmandu.
SOVIT (18): The antagonist of the chapter. A local "Don" in the making. Wears trendy streetwear, heavy gold chain, arrogant smirk. Prefers raw, brutal street brawling.
CHAPTER 1: THE WEIGHT OF A KICK
SCENE 1: THE BUS PARK
[PANEL 1]
A wide, cinematic shot of the chaotic Gongabu Bus Park in Kathmandu. Dust rises from the wheels of microbuses. Street vendors are shouting. The sun is blazing hot.
SFX: HOONK! BEEP!
CAPTION: Kathmandu. A city where dreams come to breathe... or choke on the dust.
[PANEL 2]
Close-up on BIRAJ’s worn-out sneakers. One of them has a hole near the toe, patched up with cheap tape.
CAPTION: For someone like me, survival isn't a choice. It’s a 24-hour shift.
[PANEL 3]
Biraj is carrying a heavy sack of potatoes on his shoulders, sweat dripping down his face. He looks tired, but his eyes are intensely focused.
SHOPKEEPER (Background): "Hey, Biraj! Hurry up with those sacks! We have another delivery coming!"
BIRAJ: "Yes, Dai. Right away."
SCENE 2: THE ENCOUNTER
[PANEL 4]
A group of three teenagers walking arrogantly through the crowded market. People actively step aside to avoid them. Leading them is SOVIT, smoking a cigarette, looking down at everyone.
CAPTION: In every corner of this city, there are wolves.
[PANEL 5]
Sovit deliberately steps directly into Biraj’s path. Biraj, carrying the heavy sack, tries to pivot to avoid him, but his taped shoe slips on a piece of rotten fruit.
[PANEL 6]
SFX: THUD!
The sack slips from Biraj's shoulder, hitting the dusty ground and bursting open. A few potatoes roll right up to Sovit’s expensive, clean sneakers.
[PANEL 7]
Close-up on Sovit’s face shifting from a smirk to pure annoyance. He looks down at his shoe, which now has a tiny smudge of dirt.
SOVIT: "Oi. Are you blind, or do you just want to die today?"
SCENE 3: THE TENSION
[PANEL 8]
Biraj immediately gets on his knees, quickly gathering the spilled potatoes back into the sack. He keeps his head down, trying to avoid conflict.
BIRAJ: "I'm sorry. The shoe slipped. I'll clean it right away."
SOVIT'S LACKEY 1: "Look at this trash. Hey, do you know who this is? This is Sovit. His brother controls this entire market sector."
[PANEL 9]
Sovit steps forward and brutally kicks the sack of potatoes out of Biraj’s hands, scattering them everywhere again.
SFX: KRAK!
SOVIT: "Licking my shoes clean might save your legs. Start talking with your tongue, not your hands."
[PANEL 10]
Biraj freezes. His hands are still on the dirt. The camera focuses closely on his eyes—they change instantly. The exhaustion vanishes, replaced by a cold, sharp glare underneath his messy bangs.
BIRAJ (Thinking): I promised my mother I wouldn't fight anymore. I promised I'd just earn money.
[PANEL 11]
Sovit grabs Biraj by his hair, pulling his head back violently.
SOVIT: "What are you looking at, you beggar?"
SCENE 4: THE EXPLOSION (ACTION BEGINS)
[PANEL 12]
(Viral Hit style tech-tip overlay effect appears on screen, like a mental note)
TEXT BOX / OVERLAY: [Street Fighting Tip: When grabbed by the hair, do not pull away. Lean into the grab to neutralize their leverage.]
[PANEL 13]
Instead of pulling back, Biraj steps violently forward, slamming his forehead directly into Sovit’s nose.
SFX: CRUNCH!
SOVIT: "AGHH?!"
[PANEL 14]
Sovit stumbles backward, blood immediately leaking from his nose. His two lackeys look completely shocked.
LACKEY 2: "This crazy bastard just—!"
[PANEL 15]
Dynamic action shot. Lackey 1 lunges forward with a wild, telegraphed right hook. Biraj calmly ducks under the punch, his eyes tracking the motion perfectly.
TEXT BOX / OVERLAY: [Basic Boxing Counter: The Duck and Pivot.]
[PANEL 16]
Biraj drives a brutal liver shot directly into Lackey 1's side. The impact is drawn with heavy, vibrating lines to show the force.
SFX: THUMP-BAM!
LACKEY 1: "GURRK..." (collapses instantly, clutching his stomach)
SCENE 5: THE SHOWDOWN
[PANEL 17]
Sovit wipes the blood from his nose, his expression turning completely psychotic. He pulls out a heavy metal lock attached to a thick chain from his pocket and wraps it around his knuckles.
SOVIT: "You're dead. I’m going to break every single bone in your body!"
[PANEL 18]
Sovit rushes forward, swinging the chain wildly. The metal cuts through the air. Biraj steps back repeatedly, dodging by millimeters. The dust from the ground swirls around their feet.
SFX: SWISH! SWISH!
[PANEL 19]
Sovit throws a massive overhead strike with the chain. Biraj doesn't dodge this time—he steps inside the swing, blocking Sovit's forearm with his own crossed wrists to stop the chain from hitting him.
SFX: CLASH!
[PANEL 20]
Extreme close-up of Biraj's face, inches away from Sovit's. Biraj's expression is completely emotionless, almost terrifyingly calm.
BIRAJ: "Your stance is too wide. You're completely open."
[PANEL 21]
(Full-page spread, highly detailed Viral Hit style dynamic angle)
Biraj pivots on his good left foot, swinging his right leg in a devastating, textbook Muay Thai low kick directly into the inside of Sovit’s knee joint. The shockwave of the kick is visualised clearly.
SFX: CRACKKK!
[PANEL 22]
Sovit’s leg bends backward unnaturally. His eyes roll back into his head from the sheer shock of the pain.
SOVIT: "A-AAAAHHHH!"
SCENE 6: THE AFTERMATH
[PANEL 23]
Sovit crashes hard onto the dusty gravel, holding his ruined knee, groaning in agony. The remaining lackey stands frozen, trembling, looking at Biraj like he’s a monster.
[PANEL 24]
Biraj doesn't look at them. He simply bends down, picks up his torn sack of potatoes, ties a knot to secure it, and hoists it back onto his bleeding shoulder.
[PANEL 25]
Biraj walks away into the crowded market, his silhouette fading into the dust and the afternoon sun.
CAPTION: I don't fight for pride. I don't fight for a title.
[PANEL 26]
Close up on Biraj's face as he walks. A single tear mixes with the sweat on his cheek, but his jaw remains clenched.
CAPTION: I fight because in this city... if you don't have teeth, they eat you alive.
[PANEL 27]
(Ending panel of Chapter 1)
A mysterious, well-dressed man in a sharp black suit and sunglasses is standing on a nearby rooftop balcony, looking down through binoculars, watching Biraj leave. He opens a flip phone.
MYSTERIOUS MAN: "Boss. I found him. The ghost of the street tracks. He's hiding out in Kathmandu."
