The Protector
Chapter 4: Find the Demon Killer Dagger
In the morning, Rishi met Keshav.
Keshav: "Hey bro, where is the weapon?"
Rishi: "I don't know where it is exactly, but I have a map."
Rishi opened the map and examined it carefully.
Rishi: "According to this map, the weapon is in a small village called Ramnagar in Uttarakhand."
Keshav: "Ramnagar? That's my native village!"
Rishi: "Then tomorrow we'll go to Ramnagar."
Keshav: "Okay."
Suddenly, twenty spirits appeared around them.
There were five Pisachas, five Chalavas, four Vetalas, and one Brahmarakshasa.
Rishi was shocked. He had never seen so many powerful spirits together.
He looked at Keshav.
To his surprise, Keshav was smiling.
Rishi: "Are you okay, Keshav?"
Keshav: "Of course. Why?"
Rishi: "Then why are you smiling?"
Keshav: "Because my family has fought spirits like these for generations."
Rishi: "Really?"
Keshav: "Yes. I belong to a Tantrik family, and I'm a Tantrik too."
Rishi: "Seriously?"
Keshav: "Yes."
Rishi: "Udaya!"
The Demon Killer Sword emerged from Rishi's body.
At the same time, Rakta Pisachini emerged from his shadow.
Keshav began chanting powerful spells.
After several minutes, he successfully took control of all five Pisachas.
Keshav: "Destroy the Chalavas!"
The Pisachas immediately attacked.
Meanwhile, Rishi charged toward the Chalavas.
His sword injured several of them, while the controlled Pisachas destroyed the rest.
At the same time, Rakta Pisachini attacked the Vetalas and destroyed their physical forms.
The Vetalas vanished.
Now only the Brahmarakshasa remained.
Rishi, Rakta Pisachini, and the Pisachas attacked together.
However, the Brahmarakshasa was incredibly powerful.
It grabbed Rishi and threw him into a Peepal tree.
Rishi quickly stood up and rushed forward.
He swung his sword.
But the Brahmarakshasa moved aside, and the sword struck the Peepal tree instead.
To Rishi's surprise, the Brahmarakshasa suddenly screamed in pain.
Keshav immediately understood what had happened.
Keshav: "The Peepal tree is its weakness!"
The Brahmarakshasa charged toward Rishi again.
The Pisachas and Rakta Pisachini distracted it by attacking from all directions.
Meanwhile, Keshav ran to the Peepal tree and started chanting another spell.
After several minutes, magical symbols appeared on the tree.
The Brahmarakshasa was slowly pulled toward it.
Finally, it became trapped inside the Peepal tree.
Keshav: "Disappear."
The Pisachas vanished.
Rakta Pisachini returned to Rishi's shadow.
Rishi: "Bro, that Brahmarakshasa was unbelievably strong."
Keshav: "A Brahmarakshasa is much stronger than normal spirits. My family has fought them before, so I know their weaknesses."
Rishi: "That's impressive."
Keshav: "Thanks."
Rishi: "Anyway, tomorrow we'll begin searching for the Demon Killer Dagger."
Keshav: "Sounds good."
Rishi: "Meet me at the bus stand tomorrow morning."
Keshav: "Yes, boss."
Rishi: "Don't call me boss!"
Keshav: "Fine, bro."
The two friends laughed and returned home.
Keshav lived alone in Delhi because his parents stayed in their village.
That night, he called his father.
Keshav: "Dad, I'm coming to the village."
Keshav's Father: "When are you coming, son?"
Keshav: "Tomorrow."
Keshav's Father: "Okay, son."
The next morning, Rishi and Keshav met at the bus stand.
They boarded a bus to Uttarakhand.
After six hours of travel, they finally arrived in Ramnagar.
Keshav pointed toward a large house.
Keshav: "Rishi, this is my house."
Rishi: "Nice. Ring the bell."
Keshav pressed the doorbell.
His father opened the door.
Keshav's Father: "Welcome, Keshav. And who is this?"
Keshav: "He's my best friend."
Rishi: "Hello, Uncle. I'm Rishi."
Keshav's Father: "Nice to meet you. What do your parents do?"
Rishi: "My mother is a software engineer. My father was captured by the Demon King's soldiers."
Keshav quickly explained everything.
Keshav: "Dad, he's searching for the weapons created by his grandfather."
The conversation caught the attention of Keshav's grandfather, who came out of his room.
Keshav's Grandfather: "What is your grandfather's name?"
Rishi: "Raghunath."
The old man looked surprised.
Keshav's Grandfather: "Raghunath? Why are you searching for the weapons?"
Rishi: "Because I want to save my father from the Demon King's soldiers."
Keshav's Grandfather: "I see. Then I can help you."
Rishi: "You know where the weapon is?"
Keshav's Grandfather: "Yes. The Demon Killer Dagger is hidden inside a Kali Maa temple deep in the forest."
Rishi: "Thank you, Grandpa."
Keshav: "Come on, Grandpa. We'll go to my room now."
A little later, Keshav's mother arrived and happily greeted her son.
The next morning, Rishi and Keshav entered the forest.
After walking for thirty minutes, they found an ancient temple of Kali Maa.
Rishi: "This temple looks very old."
Keshav: "It's around 150 years old."
Rishi: "Let's go inside."
They entered the temple.
Inside, they saw a beautiful dagger placed in the hands of Kali Maa's statue.
Rishi carefully took the dagger.
The moment he touched it, the entire temple began shaking.
Large cracks appeared in the walls.
Rishi: "Run!"
The boys rushed toward the exit as pieces of stone fell around them.
Fortunately, they escaped safely before the temple collapsed.
Outside, both of them took deep breaths.
Keshav: "Show me the dagger."
Rishi handed it over.
Suddenly, a spirit attacked Rishi from behind.
Without hesitation, Keshav stabbed the spirit with the dagger.
The spirit disappeared instantly.
Rishi: "Bro, you scared me."
Keshav: "Why?"
Rishi: "For a second, I thought you were attacking me."
Keshav: "Come on. You're my best friend. Why would I attack you?"
Rishi laughed.
Rishi: "Good point."
Keshav: "So what's next?"
Rishi: "Next week we'll search for the Healing Cloth."
Keshav: "Sounds good."
The two friends spent a happy week in the village, enjoying their time with Keshav's family before beginning their next adventure.
