Chapter 2:--(Part 1)

The next morning, Subho Roy stood in front of the mirror, fixing the collar of his university uniform. He tried to push yesterday's strange encounter out of his mind, but Damien Valentino's cold grey eyes refused to leave his thoughts.

"It was just an accident," he whispered to himself.

When Subho reached Westbridge University, he immediately noticed students staring at him. Their whispers followed him through the corridors.

"That's the freshman who talked back to Damien."

"I heard Damien smiled at him."

"He's asking for trouble."

Subho ignored every word and entered his classroom.

His best friend, nao Brooks, rushed toward him.

"Subho! Have you lost your mind?"✨

"What happened now?" Subho asked with a tired smile.

"You challenged Damien Valentino in front of everyone. Nobody does that."

Subho shrugged🌠

"I didn't challenge him. I just spoke normally."

Noah sighed.✨

"You really don't understand who he is."

Before Subho could reply, the classroom suddenly fell silent.

Everyone looked toward the hallway.

Damien Valentino walked past the classroom with two bodyguards behind him.

He didn't stop.

He didn't speak.

But for one brief second...

His eyes met Subho's✨

Then Damien continued walking as if nothing had happened.👀

The whispers grew louder.

"He looked at him again."👀✨

"Why would Damien notice a freshman?"✨

Subho looked away and opened his notebook, pretending not to care.

Classes ended later than usual. Dark clouds had covered the sky, and a light rain began to fall over the campus. Students hurried toward the gates, laughing and chatting, while Subho quietly packed his books.✨

Noah caught up with him near the exit.

"Are you coming to the café with us?" he asked.

Subho smiled apologetically.✨💢

"Maybe next time. I have work after class."

Noah nodded and left with the others.

Subho started walking toward the bus stop, enjoying the cool breeze. For the first time that day, the campus felt peaceful.

Then his phone vibrated.

An unknown number.

He opened the message.

> "Stay away from Damien Valentino if you value your future."

Subho frowned.

"Who sent this?"🙄

Before he could reply, the message disappeared from the screen as if it had never existed.

A cold chill ran down his spine.

He looked around.👀✨

People were walking past him as usual, yet something felt... wrong.😟

Across the street, a black SUV was parked with its windows completely tinted.

Inside, someone was watching him.

Not far away, another black car slowly pulled up.

Damien stepped out, adjusting the sleeve of his black coat. His expression remained calm, but his sharp eyes immediately noticed the SUV.

Luca walked over and spoke quietly.

"They've found him."

Damien's jaw tightened.

"I know."

"Should we move now?"✨

Damien watched as the SUV's engine started.

"Not yet," he replied. "If they're only watching, we watch too."

A few seconds later, the SUV drove away without making a move.

Subho never noticed it.🙄

He simply adjusted his backpack and continued toward the bus stop, unaware that someone had already marked him as part of a much bigger game.

Damien looked at the empty road and spoke under his breath.

> "You're already caught in a war you know nothing about, Subho."✨

Far away, inside the SUV, a mysterious man smiled while making a phone call.

"The target is under Valentino's attention."

A deep voice answered,👀💢
