The icy wind howled against the windows as Adrian stared at the old photograph.
His father.

And Elias Frost.
The date stamped in the corner was unmistakable.
15 years ago.
Yet Elias looked exactly the same.

The next morning, Adrian marched straight into the CEO's office.
Floor-to-ceiling windows overlooked the frozen sea. Elias stood silently, a cup of black coffee in his hand.
"You came early," Elias said without turning around.
Adrian threw the photograph onto the desk.
"Explain this."
Elias glanced at it.

"I never said he was dead."

Before Adrian could press further, the office intercom crackled.

Scientists rushed through the corridors.
Security officers surrounded the genetics lab.
A reinforced glass wall had been shattered from the inside.
Several vials containing experimental DNA samples were gone.
On the floor lay two unconscious guards.
One barely whispered, "They... wore black masks..."
"Mafia?" Noah asked.

"You know them."

"We're leaving. Now."
"I need answers!"
"And I need you alive."
For the first time, Adrian saw genuine fear in Elias's eyes.
Deep beneath the glacier, in a chamber no scientist was authorized to enter, thick chains lay broken across the frozen floor.
Something enormous had escaped.
A deep growl echoed through the darkness.
