Chapter 1 – A Rainy Evening

The evening sky was covered with dark clouds as rain began to fall over the busy city. People hurried along the streets, trying to reach home before the storm grew stronger.

At a quiet bus stop stood Ayesha, a 22-year-old university student. She hugged her books tightly against her chest while watching the rain. She wore a simple blue dress, and although her face was beautiful, her eyes carried the sadness of someone who had faced too many hardships.

Her father had passed away years ago. Since then, she and her sick mother had struggled to survive. Every morning Ayesha attended university, and every evening she taught children to earn enough money for medicine, rent, and food.

Despite her difficult life, she never complained. She believed that one day, life would reward her patience.

As the rain became heavier, a black luxury car slowly stopped in front of the bus stop.

The window rolled down.

Inside sat a handsome young man wearing a black suit. His sharp features, calm expression, and confident personality immediately caught attention.

He looked at Ayesha politely.

"Excuse me," he said. "The rain is getting worse. If you don't mind, I can drop you home."

Ayesha looked at him for a few seconds before replying softly,

"Thank you... but I don't travel with strangers."

Instead of feeling offended, the young man smiled.

"That's a wise decision. Stay safe."

The car drove away.

Ayesha watched it disappear into the rain without knowing that this brief meeting would change her life forever.

The young man was Zayan Malik, the young CEO of Malik Group, one of the country's largest business empires.

Although he was famous for his success and wealth, very few people knew that behind his confident smile lived a lonely heart.

That night, even after returning home, Zayan could not stop thinking about the girl who had refused his offer with such dignity.

"Who was she?" he whispered to himself.

For the first time in years, someone had left an impression on his heart.

The next morning, Ayesha arrived at the university. The campus was unusually crowded because Malik Group was organizing a scholarship program for talented students.

Students filled the auditorium, excited to meet the famous CEO.

When the host announced,

"Please welcome Mr. Zayan Malik!"

the audience burst into applause.

As Zayan walked onto the stage, his eyes searched the crowd.

Then he saw her.

The same girl from the rainy evening.

Ayesha also recognized him immediately, but she quickly looked away.

After delivering an inspiring speech about dreams, education, and hard work, Zayan personally presented scholarships to outstanding students.

When Ayesha's name was called, she walked confidently to the stage.

As she accepted the certificate, their eyes met once again.

Neither of them spoke.

But something silent passed between them—something neither could explain.
