CH. 05: ‘The day she Came home late’

“Drink some water, first..”

A-yeon drinks water after she has a nightmare that she experienced.

“What kind of nightmare did you have..?” Jun-seop said,

A-yeon replied

“I can't.. it's too dark and so scary, and everything went wrong..”

Her mother and father looked at each other.

Jun-seop replied “I see.”

‘What the hell did I see.., this makes me scared..’

After she had a nightmare, her brother Jun-seop took care of her while she was asleep. The next morning.

“A-yeon ah, are you okay?..” Ye-hui asked,

“I'm fine..yehui,”

Ye-hui looked at the others and signaled them that she already had a nightmare that she couldn't tell anyone because everyone thought it was a fake.

During her time at school, she's not focused in class, and her friends were worried because of her actions. Meanwhile, at her house.

“Mother, father, I need to go now” Jun-seop said,

“alright, be careful you guys,”

“better come back, son's”

Jun-seop and Eun-joon nodded.

“We will be back” Eun-joon said,

A-yeon's two older brothers left the house for an important meeting.

Their parents left the house. A-yeon went home late, but whenever she shouted to her parents no one answered and when she arrived at the living room.

About Ye-hui:

Ye-hui was one of the first people to become friends with A-yeon during middle school.

Unlike many others, she never judged A-yeon for her strange dreams or quiet personality.

Although she doesn't talk much, she notices everything happening around her.

Many people think she's harmless because of her calm nature. They're usually wrong.

When someone insults or bullies one of her friends, Ye-hui becomes unexpectedly sharp-tongued and intimidating. During the group's training session in Virelia, she became the third Earth friend to awaken her ability.

To everyone's surprise, she suddenly began floating several feet above the ground.

Kang hyun-kyo (강현교)

Age: 17

Birthday: November 5th

Family: Mother & Father, Four older sisters

Role: A-yeon's Childhood Neighbor and Trusted Friend

Personality: Tall, quiet, gentle, calm, friendly, intelligent, and observant. Despite being younger than A-yeon, she often acts like an older sister because of her mature personality. She is introverted but deeply loyal to the people she cares about.

Weapon: mirror blades

Nickname: 'Phantom mirror'

About hyun-kyo:

Hyun-kyo grew up living near A-yeon and became one of her closest childhood friends.

Although she was younger, she often looked after A-yeon whenever she seemed lonely or troubled by her strange dreams. Because of her height and mature appearance, many people mistake her for being the oldest member of the group. Hyun-kyo dislikes conflict and prefers solving problems through strategy rather than force. During the group's training in Virelia, she became the second Earth friend to awaken her hidden power, surprising everyone with an illusion so realistic that even Jae-li thought it was real.
