Ishaan couldn't sleep that night.
Every time he closed his eyes, he remembered the gunshots, the frightened man, and the black cars.
"Who were they...?" he whispered to himself.
The next morning, he convinced himself it had all been a nightmare.
As usually he wake up late....
After getting ready he headed to college.
He is late that's why he took a shortcut first he hesitates to go through the same way...
After he's pulling himself and decided to be gone through the way.
Ishaan goes through in that same way he saw everywhere someone is here or not and run very faster in that time by God Grace no one in his way…
After he headed to college...
Meet his friends and chat with them one of them is teased why Mr late comer looks, so dull today is their anything...
His friends noticed he was unusually quiet.
"What happened? You look like you didn't sleep at all," one of them asked.
"It's nothing... I just studied too late," Ishaan replied with a forced smile.
Meanwhile...
Before he could enter the classroom, someone suddenly wrapped an arm around his shoulder.
"Good morning, Sleeping Beauty."
Ishaan sighed.
"Aarav... not today."
Aarav Mehta, Ishaan's best friend since first year, laughed.
"You look like you fought a ghost."
"I just didn't sleep well."
"Hmm... or maybe you finally got yourself a secret girlfriend?"
Ishaan rolled his eyes.
"In your dreams."
The two laughed as they walked toward the classroom.
For a while, everything felt normal again.
Classes, jokes, canteen food, and endless teasing.
But every now and then, Ishaan couldn't stop looking over his shoulder.
It felt like someone was watching him.
Far across the road...
A man wearing a black cap quietly lowered his binoculars.
"It's him."
He took out his phone.
"The witness is at the college."
The person on the other end answered with only one sentence.
"Keep watching him."
The call ended.
Neither Ishaan nor Aarav noticed the eyes following them from a distance.
The college canteen was as noisy as ever.
Students laughed, argued over assignments, and rushed to finish their lunch before the next lecture.
"You're finally smiling," Aarav said, placing a plate of samosas in front of Ishaan.
"I was smiling yesterday too."
"No, yesterday you looked like you had seen a ghost."
Ishaan laughed softly but didn't answer.
He couldn't tell Aarav what had happened the previous night. Even he wasn't sure if it was real.
After classes ended, Aarav stretched his arms.
"Let's go watch a movie this weekend."
"Only if you're paying."
"You're impossible!"
The two friends laughed and walked toward the college gate.
As they stepped outside, Ishaan suddenly stopped.
Across the road...
A man wearing a black cap stood beside a black SUV.
The man wasn't looking at the traffic.
He was looking at Ishaan.
The moment their eyes met, the man turned away and got into the vehicle.
The SUV disappeared into the traffic.
"What happened?" Aarav asked.
"Nothing... I thought I recognized someone."
"You're acting strange these days."
"I'm just tired."
But deep inside...
Ishaan knew it wasn't just his imagination anymore.
Someone really was watching him.
A few kilometers away, inside a luxurious office hidden beneath the city...
A man placed a file on a large wooden desk.
On the cover was a photograph.
ISHAAN SHARMA
"Boss," he said respectfully.
"We know his name now."
The room fell silent.
A calm voice replied from the shadows,
"Keep watching him."
"No one approaches him without my order."
"Yes, Boss."
The file remained open on the desk...
Completely unaware that this ordinary pharmacy student was about to become part of a world he had never imagined.
To be continued...
