When I first saw you

My day started with me preparing for my first day of grade 9!

A new school, a new class, a new neighborhood

everything seemed like a great start!

Well before anything else

I got ready, ate my lunch and headed to school!

Though it was never far, so I had to go along with my uncle (he's a teacher there) and my older brother, who drove us there (not my biological brother, we'll name him "brother 2")

Well, it took some time to reach the school, but I was kinda excited but also nervous and anxious!

Then finally we reach lamkhai! From there we went to the right, up to keithelmanbi!

Then at the top, there it was, my school

A new beginning, a humble one too, it was now a village life!

Then brother 2 parks near the school as it was raining, didn't want myself being wet on the first day!!!!

My uncle and i ran inside the school and brother 2 drove back home after waving goodbye

After that, headmaster called me in his office, he took a picture of me for my id card! I was nervous, really nervous!!!! then i had to go to my classroom, but for some reason, everyone was roaming around, i guess the school hasn't started yet?

And a lot of students were staring at me,

it was superrrr awkward, and my class was basically at the end of the hall so, I had to walked through all the stares, i was anxious!

well, slowly but surely, i reached my class

i stood in front, took a deep breathe and went inside...there were only 2 or 3 people there

now i was very curious

"where is everyone?

why are they all roaming around?"

all those questioned popped into my head

and for some reason, all the benches and desk were not there!

I saw 1 bench at the back though, soo i went there, sat and places my bag

then, people started coming in slowly, the onced empty room was now filled with students

specifically class 9 students, these were all gonna be my new classmates! kinda excited(im not)

Then some of them came up to me and asked me questions! like where im from and how did i get here,

just some simple friendly questions

it was honestly looking like everything would work just fine!

Then the teacher walked in and everyone welcomed him and sat down

The girls of first bench told the teacher there was a new student (obviously it was me)

And so the teacher called out to me, telling me to come to him, and stand there

And so i did, i went were he told me to, i stood there looking like a slug, i had no energy

Then he told me to introduce myself

in my head i thought he meant "introduce yourself to everyone"

but im a shy person, very introverted soo, basically ignoring his request, i only quietly introduced myself to him!

Told him my tribe was Gangte

he was shocked, cause my tribe was pretty much rare to find around here

and so the girls chitchatted, they were interested, but naive me won't know, he doesn't need to know

Then after that introduction, I went back to my seat, it was great I guess?

Better than a disaster, besides it was my first day, teacher told everyone to help me in whatever I need

But my shyness made me deny any help offered by anyone, my bad.

Alot of things happened for sure

I didn't know where to look to, it was hard, it was awkward

I practically had eyes all over me, it was annoying too

Some class girls ask to let them help me write my notes, I rejected, because I wanted to see my own handwriting in my note, not other's

Well at least it was worth it, copying notes from last month made me distract myself from the awkwardness I felt(i attended school late, The school started at January and i only admitted in april)

Well, at least it was better than nothing!

And then, classes went on

Teachers called me out, especially the math teacher

he thought I was smart (i ain't) and could solve the equation, I told him i can't, he was shocked i guess?

I went back to my seat, the classes went on

i still had some stares, some girls tried to flirt with me, even though IT WAS LITERALLY THE FIRST DAY

Like damn, chill

well, I guess i don't mind it much

And then classes went on, recess came, some people called me to hang out with them, i rejected, i don't want to roam around, I'm an introvert

well, this one dude approached me, he's cool, he approached me while i was drawing random eye doodle on the bench, he said im good at it, he said he does drawings too, and yea, we basically became friends after that

The school ended, the bell rung

everyone went out for assembly, so did i, i followed my new friend, and while going down the stairs, a girl fell, ofc introvert me would ignore her, but i already saw her fell, i was right behind her, and everyone was staring at me soo, not trying to make them think im rude, i helped her up, i gave her a hand, she tooked it and stood up, then when i try to let go, she dragged me instead, i was annoyed, i only lend a hand to help her, not to get dragged and make people make rumors (btw, this was the worst mistake i ever made)

Then, she went to the girls side and i went to the boys, still following my new friend

Then, school end, and guess what

I saw someone, someone who particularly looked sad, was she down? was she sad? I accidentally stared right into her eyes, that was enough, i was captivated, but looked away quickly (lets call her, bemmy)

Then, i quietly waited for my uncle to come out of the staff room, and waited for brother2 to come pick us up! we waited a long time, some people waved me goodbye, i never waved back

overall, it was a great day, nothing too bad, just normal stuff, then finally after what felt like ages, bother2 was here to pick us up, well i didn't mind, i was busy thinking about how pretty bemmy eyes were! it still had me captivated, lost in my own mind

Then i sat inside the car, so did my uncle and we all went back home, besides, i didn't think much about her eyes too, but i dont know something about it wad attracting me, but yea, I'll probably forget about it after some while, and yes, i was right, as soon as we reach teijang veng (village name) and went into my home, i forgot everything, cause first day, it was tiring

I immediately went to the bathroom to clean up, eat to gain energy and just touched phone, had nothing to do anyways, my life is boring, till now (but in the future there will be someone who change it...wait am i spoiling the story?)

Well after that time passed, everything was kinda fine. I told myself

Well, evening turned to night and so, sleeping it is

Tomorrow is another day of school, so I slept early

Hoping to wake up early tomorrow!
