The next morning...

I slowly opened my eyes as the warm sunlight fell upon my face. I sat up lazily only to realize I wasn't in my room. I blinked twice in confusion. "Where am I?" ..The familiar scent of sandalwood surrounded me.Then my eyes slowly moved towards the person sleeping beside me.

Adam Rossi.

"W-WHAT?!"

I immediately covered my mouth before screaming. "Didn't we sleep separately last night?!" Before I could move away, an arm tightened around my waist, pulling me back into his embrace. "Five more minutes."

I froze.

"HE'S HUGGING ME!!" My innocent brain stopped functioning at that moment. Did he sleepwalk? Did I sleepwalk? Did WE sleepwalk?!

Meanwhile, Adam was still half asleep. He was holding me like a human pillow without realizing it. I carefully tried removing his hand from my waist. Big mistake. He pulled me even closer.

"Stop moving."

"I-I'M TRYING TO BREATHE!" His eyes slowly opened before narrowing slightly. "Why are you screaming at seven in the morning?"

"YOU'RE HUGGING ME!"

Silence.

He looked down at his hand around my waist before looking back at my red face. "I can see that."

"THEN WHY ARE YOU SO CALM?!"

"Should I cry instead?"

"THAT'S NOT THE POINT!"

Adam sat up calmly before speaking. "You sleepwalk."......"I DON'T!"...."Then would you like to explain why you're in my arms?"..."YOU'RE THE ONE WHO'S HOLDING ME!"..."And yet somehow this has become my fault."

Aria could feel tears threatening to fall from embarrassment.

Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. "Young Master, breakfast is—"

The head butler froze after opening the door.

There stood his cold and terrifying master sitting on the bed with his wife in his arms.

Silence.

The butler slowly closed the door. "I deeply apologize for interrupting, Young Master."

Three seconds later....The entire mansion knew about it.

Breaking News

Mr. and Mrs. Rossi are very much in love. The maids were crying tears of joy downstairs.

"OUR YOUNG MASTER FINALLY FOUND HAPPINESS!"

"THEY LOOK SO CUTE TOGETHER!"

"I'M GOING TO BE A GRANDMOTHER BEFORE I RETIRE!"

Upstairs....

"IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT!"

"I'm fairly certain I wasn't the one shouting." I covered her burning face with a pillow. Meanwhile, Adam found himself smiling unconsciously while watching her panic. For the first time in years, waking up didn't feel exhausting.

Later that afternoon...

Adam was attending an important meeting while I decided to bake cookies for everyone in the mansion. I happily carried the tray towards the garden. "Young Madam! They're delicious!"

"Thank you!"

"Young Madam is so beautiful and kind."

"Our Young Master is very lucky."

Hearing their compliments made Me smile shyly.

Suddenly....

SCREECH!

A black car stopped outside the mansion gates. Several armed men stepped out while everyone froze in fear.

"Where is Aria Rossi?"

The leader pointed his gun towards the guards. "Hand her over if you value your lives."

The servants immediately protected Aria behind them.

"Young Madam! Please run!"

"B-But—"

"NOW!". .Before I could move, one of the men grabbed my wrist. "Found her." my face immediately turned pale.

At rossi Corporation....

Adam phone suddenly rang during the meeting. "Speak."

The moment he heard the trembling voice of his butler, his expression darkened dangerously.

"Young Master....they've taken Young Madam."

Silence. .....Absolute silence filled the meeting room. Everyone felt the temperature around them drop instantly.

"Who?"

"We don't know, sir."

Adam slowly stood up before speaking. "Find them."...."Sir?"........"I said FIND THEM!"

His voice shook the entire room. For the first time in years....The Devil of the Business World had completely lost his composure. He picked up his gun before walking towards the door. One of his subordinates hesitated before asking,

"Sir....what should we do if they resist?"

Adam cold eyes slowly lifted towards him.

"Kill them."

"....."

"And if they've laid even a finger on my wife..." His voice became terrifyingly calm."I don't care if I have to burn this entire city to the ground."

For Adam rossi....

There was only one rule.

He could make Aria cry.

He could tease her.

He could protect her.

But no one else was allowed to touch what belonged to him.

No one.
