The alarm rang, but no one stopped it.

After five minutes, the alarm rang again.

"Min-jae!" a woman's voice rang through the phone.

"Yes, Mom? And what was Min-seo saying?" Min-jae asked, sounding confused.

"Nothing. She's an idiot. Don't listen to her. Are you on your way to college?" his mother asked.

"Yes, Mom. I'm just on my way to grab something to eat, then I'll leave for college," Min-jae replied.

"Okay, okay. Study hard. If you need anything, just tell us. Bye-bye. Take care, baby. Love you."

Before Min-jae could reply, Min-seo's voice came from the other side again.

"Partiality! (⁠╥⁠﹏⁠╥⁠) No one loves me!" Min-seo cried dramatically.

"Thank God you finally accepted that no one loves you," Min-jae teased his little sister.

"Hmph! You're the worst brother ever!" Min-seo shouted.

Min-jae chuckled.

"Bye-bye, Mom. Love you. Take care. And you too, brat. Take care. I'm hanging up now, or I'll be late."

With that, Min-jae ended the call.

After the call, Min-jae headed toward his regular café, where he had breakfast every morning.

"One sandwich and a banana milk," he said as he placed his order.

"I think you're going to be late for college again," the café worker, who had known Min-jae for a long time, said with a laugh.

"No. Time is just moving too fast," Min-jae replied lazily.

The café worker chuckled softly.

Min-jae took his breakfast and sat at an empty table. After finishing his meal, he grabbed his bag and made his way toward college.

Min-jae made his way toward the bus stop. He was glad he had arrived early.

He got on the bus and, luckily, even found an empty seat. Sitting down comfortably, he couldn't help but wonder why he was so lucky today.

He had woken up on time, gotten ready for college, eaten breakfast, and even caught the bus without rushing. Unlike every other day, today he wasn't in a hurry at all.

"...Is today my lucky day?" he muttered to himself with a small smile.

After thirty minutes, Min-jae arrived at his college and started walking toward his classroom.

Just then, he heard a loud voice from behind.

"Min-jae!"

The shout echoed through the hallway, making almost everyone turn to look at them.

Min-jae slowly closed his eyes, silently cursing the friend who had just embarrassed him in front of half the college. Taking a deep breath, he turned around and looked at Yuna with a fake smile.

He mouthed, "Wanna die, bish?"

Yuna immediately realized she had drawn way too much attention.

"Hehe... sorry," she said awkwardly, making an apologetic gesture before walking over to Min-jae. she casually threw an arm around Min-jae's shoulder as if nothing had happened.

The height difference between them wasn't much. Min-jae was about five centimeters taller, but Yuna was wearing heel today, making them almost the same height.

"Yuna, you're never going to change this habit of yours, are you?" Min-jae said irritably. "You could've just come over to me. Did you really have to shout?"

"Hehe... I'm sorry," Yuna replied with a sorry gaze . "But I just can't help it. You know me."

Then she smiled brightly and tugged at his sleeve.

"Come on, let's go to the classroom. Don't be so angry, my Min-jae," she said cutely.

Min-jae let out a helpless sigh before shaking his head with a small smile.

The two of them had been friends for many years. They were both Omega. and very close to each other.

The two of them entered the classroom and sat in their usual seats.

A few minutes later, another friend joined them.

"Morning," Lee Eun greeted as he walked over and sat beside them.

"Of course I want to buy it," Min-jae replied. "But you have to lower the price. Otherwise, I'm leaving."

The shopkeeper looked at the ring and thought.

With a sigh, he asked, "Fine. How much are you willing to pay?"

"Ten rupees."

The shopkeeper stared at him.

"At that price, you might as well take it for free."

The shopkeeper rolled his eyes.

The shopkeeper packed the ring in a small box and gave it to him.

Min-jae looked at the ring one last time, smiled with satisfaction, and walked out of the shop.

The moment he disappeared into the crowd, the shopkeeper slowly looked toward the door.

A strange smile appeared on his face.

Min-jae reached home after looking around the market.

He entered the apartment, threw his bag onto the sofa, placed the bag containing the ring on the table, and lazily sat down on the sofa.

Taking out his phone, he scrolled through it for thirty minutes. Then he put it aside and walked toward the bathroom to wash his hands.

After washing up, he came out and headed to the kitchen to make dinner.

He was too lazy to cook, but he wanted to stay healthy. Since he couldn't make healthy food in the morning or at lunchtime because of college, he always tried to eat a healthy dinner.

So, he went into the kitchen and made something for dinner.

After cooking, he ate while lazily scrolling through his phone. He also chatted with his friends in their group chat.

After finishing his meal, he walked to the kitchen, washed the bowl and dishes, and cleaned everything up.

Then he entered the bathroom, took a nice shower, and came out wearing a loose, comfortable nightdress.

After that, he started working on his college assignments.

An hour later, after finishing his college work, he walked into his bedroom.

Just then, his eyes fell on the ring he had bought from the market.

He picked it up and took it with him into the bedroom.

Min-jae jumped onto the bed and took out the ring.

He looked at it for a moment and smiled.

Just as he was about to lie down again, his eyes landed on a person standing quietly in front of him.

Min-jae blinked once.

Then twice.

His eyes widened.

"AHHHHHHH!!"

The person looked at him calmly and smiled.

"Oh, my wifey, you're awake."

Min-jae froze.

"W-Wifey...?" he repeated in disbelief.

The next second, his vision went black.

He fainted.

" I'm that scary? " the person was confused
