"It's got to be a joke," Susan said, sweating nervously.
"Ha, you fell for the golem trick," Edgard said, stepping forward and falling into the void. A black hole had opened in front of him and plunged into it to close a moment later.
"He escaped," Susan said in fright, looking at the two remaining teenagers. Then that fear turned to evil, and he smiled as she looked at his skeleton in the garden to give him an order: "Finish them."
"Fuck it," Jean replied, running in the opposite direction to the monster, who was trying to hit him with his three remaining limbs. He turned and waved his arms, but he couldn't catch the elusive boy, who for some strange reason was more agile than usual. The ocean flashed through his mind, causing him a severe headache. ´´No..., not again.´´
The skeleton was about to crush the young man when he saw that he stopped complaining of the headache, but his skull burst due to the pressure of a jet of water that came out of the ground. The freckled man kept squeezing his head in pain. He turned to see where his enemy was, but he only found a skeleton on the ground and didn't see Lisa anywhere in the garden.
"Your friends abandoned you, Thompson," Susan warned, summoning a flying skull with two hands. The monster had a wingspan of three meters from high up and was positioned behind the woman. ´If you give up, I'll let you live for your interrogation.´´
"They're not my friends, and literally my memories were erased, so there's nothing to interrogate," Jean replied, looking at her seriously. ´´I will only say that this house was never mine.´´
"Then you're accepting that you're a monster collaborating with a Strathman," Susan said in an aggressive tone.
"I'm a recruit of the fucking association," Jean replied.
"But you're a danger to the world... "Thompson, you killed your father; you destroyed your house to defend a group of terrorists," Strathman added.
"You still want to fight? What a stubborn woman," Jean said. The anger he felt when he learned that he was not human and that his parents were doing something strange came back from the woman's words; the water sprinkled on the lawn made its way to his body, enveloping him as if he were a snake entangled in a tree. This was not manipulated by him; rather, it seemed as if his body was trying to defend itself on its own. ´This fucking world is a fucking lie. I lived like a human, and I refuse to die like a monster who let himself be trampled by a crazy skeleton-loving bitch.´´
"You deserve to be corrected, brat," Susan said, running to the boy. The floating monster was about to throw a punch at him when he received another blow that sent them flying. It was a green and stinking orc.
"Rowawar!" The orc shouted, running at the summoner, who summoned forty skeleton warriors, who surrounded the orc on one side and near the sidewalk also surrounded Jean, who had her back to a yellow fire griffin.
Seven skeletons jumped at the orc, stabbing him several times and causing him to bleed black blood, but the green being would not fall easily: he bludgeoned his enemies to shreds, approached the woman to kill her with a baton, but the floating skeleton stopped that blow with his right arm.
"Damn Edgard, you're still here!" The woman shouted, summoning two more arms for her guardian skeleton, which held her enemy back more tightly thanks to this. The orc was pushed back several meters, and the rest of the skeletons took the opportunity to wrap him up and stab him to death. The woman looked at Jean, who dodged the skeletons' attacks.
"It's time to give yourself a little push," Edgard said, emerging from a black hole behind the teenager. Armed with a war hammer, he bludgeoned the front row, sending their bones and skulls flying; he made his way right through them without any fear, crushing heads and ribs from both sides. From the two flanks of the undead platoon appeared two human-sized stone golems, who supported the mage by doing the same to what was left of the skeleton army, tearing them apart with their constant blows.
The woman summoned three fossils of the emblematic and majestic T-rex to destroy the enemy, but Edgard, seeing these beings, said, "Don't mess around," and then almost skidded into a black hole. The dead dinosaurs, not seeing the magician, tried to bite the stone golems, but their jaws broke. The entities grabbed fists with the beasts, and with each punch, they broke the bones until they killed them again.
"Another one of your damn tricks? I think I'll have to use my most special little toy," Susan said, gritting her teeth in anger. It clicked, causing all the bones and dust to rise and move toward the position of its floating skeleton, merging with it. Oh, arise, great Gashadokuro!
A huge skeleton formed after the merger. It was on all fours, and its skull was larger compared to its body, and its height exceeded that of a three-story building. He took his owner and put her on his head gently. They both looked at the only enemy they had left on the battlefield.
"If I want to survive, I'll have to do the unthinkable, but this is very different from the skinwalker," Jean thought very tensely. That monster really terrified him, and if possible, he had to take the life of another human being; his newfound ability was causing pain in his bones and muscles, and he was even breathing quite slowly. The air weighed on his lungs, causing him to feel like he was choking. ´´Do it, Jean.´´
"Even if you try, little boy, nothing will work for you, because you have already fallen into the trap," said the woman. The teenager was being dragged towards the gashadokuro as if he were a magnet; Strathman looked at him with contempt, but deep down he already knew that he won the fight. Even if Edgard appeared, he would also be dragged towards the monster.
Susan got the Gashadokuro in Japan on a mission where this beast devoured an entire platoon of soldiers. He drew them to him, and they dissolved when he touched the monster, making it much larger. She managed to catch it and pretended to destroy it, as that beast seemed very interesting to her.
One of the golems approached Jean, turning his back to him as he looked at the Gashadokuro. In this way he was able to prevent the freckled man from being attracted to the beast; the giant skeleton raised one of its arms to crush the young man, but the little golem managed to stop the attack by raising its arms. The monster launched three more attacks, but the stone entity blocked the attacks, and with each blow, the phalanxes were broken.
A pile of papers surrounded the yokai. They were as many as a wave and could even fill a two-story house four times. They were anti-curse talismans, which blocked the monster's absorption effect, causing a white light to be generated on the ground that even hurt the bony being. Jean ran long enough to be able to see well and be able to give an accurate shot to the enemy. His body burned from the energy expenditure generated by handling water; he stretched out his arm, and the water around his torso shot out in the direction of his left shoulder. The force was so great that he ended up breaking it and separating her from her servant, but the Gashadokuro managed to trap her mid-air.
"Damn brat!" she cried out in pain. Her arm was drooping. Eat it now! ´´
"Gashi, Gashi.´´The The monster's teeth sounded in response. He took the minigolem and threw it into a neighboring house, destroying the walls from the impact and causing people to scream in terror when they heard all the commotion and saw the huge yokai out of their windows. They all called the crusaders' association for help.
"Try again, you bastard, and I'll reveal everything Edgard did!" The woman threatened, shaking her good arm.
"I won't fail again," Jean said wearily. In fact, reactivating this ability caused him to bleed from his nose and his eyes to turn red due to his inexperience. The water snake returned to his torso and was subsequently thrown at the woman again.
The gashadokuro attempted to block the attack with one hand but was unsuccessful, as two fists emerged from Void's black holes on either side of his head. These fists belonged to another, much larger golem, but he didn't summon it in its entirety because it might end up killing Jean. Both fists struck at the same time, bursting the Gashadokuro's skull, causing hundreds of parts of the skeleton to jump several meters.
The pressurized water managed to pass through her weakened hand and impacted the woman's abdomen. She writhed in pain and fell to the ground as the body of her last servant crumbled around her. She was vomiting blood.
"In the end I fell into his trap; when I called him, I had already lost...´ Susan coughed. Her hatred was appeased by the sight of the freckled man's pale face, for she was his first victim. ´´You've crossed the line, kid; you can't help it.´´
"I'll make sure I'm not like you, the one who eliminated witnesses just for pleasure," said Edgar, who stepped out of his pocket dimension and held Jean by one shoulder.
"Edg..." She couldn't finish her sentence; the divine spear fell from a black hole above her; it was impaled on her heart, causing her instant death.
"Never trust yourself in the face of the enemy," Edgard said to Jean. ´´It doesn't matter if he's on the ground; they can always launch one last attack, both morally and physically.´´
"I killed her, Strathman," Jean said, still trembling from all that had happened. ´´Where are the others?´´
"They're in my pocket dimension," Edgard said. ´I noticed that Andersen is coming here. If I could see your eyes, we would be in real trouble, and the fight against Susan would have been in vain.
A bunch of black cars came into the street, alerting Void. In fact, it is already here.
