Episode 2

The night had grown deeper; her intentions were obvious - to get a mission. Her black clothes and mask blend through the darkness, and not a single person could even notice her presence.

There she crept behind the shadows in an office room and spoke, "any job today?"

A middle-aged man, tall and menacing.

His presence screams murder even with the guise of a gentlemanly black tuxedo;

he puffed his tobacco and turned towards the shadows, "Rose, it's been a while."

he spoke with a gentle voice, but still firm enough to command a thousand troops. "have you been well?" he asked. Ryan appeared, enough to be seen, as the twilight of the moon reflects her grey eyes, "I've been well…father."

The man, leader of the Blood Dragon Organization, smiled as he puffed his tobacco once again. "I see.

This time would be interesting. You will have to move by yourself." His voice

became serious.

"It’s an unusual request… from 16 years ago. It was an unfinished business, and I think it’s time to end it. Don’t you

think so? Rose?”

It was then when she remembered how she entered the Blood Dragon Organization. She tightened her fists and frowned unnoticed. “understood… father” was all she could say.

She took an enveloped document from the man’s desk and faded through the darkness. As soon as Ryan left, the man puffed his last of his tobacco and sighed. He looked out of his office, overseeing the night view of the city. “Indeed, it’s been 16 years. Would she regret, brother?”

Ryan, soaking in her bathtub, contemplating about the mission given to her; this time, all she could think of is accomplishing the task.

An unfinished business of her ‘father’ got her jittery and excited; how could the organization’s great leader have some unaccomplished mission? All these thoughts are eating her curiosity as she reads through the report.

The report got her even more curious; all the whys are running through her head; it just doesn’t make sense. The documents included the target's background, two photos – the target’s shot from 16 years ago an the current picture.

The mission was to investigate the target and kill when information is obtained. What got Ryan more probing was not the mission itself. Still, they are willing to pay 8 million dollars for a man working in a library.

Early morning, in her day off from the B&W Company 3 days after receiving her mission, she set out to the library. She has been good with her work and confident in her skills; however, her only offset was her temper. She hates investigating – she specializes in ambush and on-the-spot assassination; however, it is not her best aptitude for lying low. Ryan, pretending to be a college student, wearing a brown messenger bag, round glasses, pink jersey jacket paired with a white shirt and grey joggers, and a messy ponytail, thanks to her small stature young image, could pass up as a middle school student.

Pretending to be a college was enough to make her irritated.

Still, meeting Alex in front of her apartment sure blew her temper off.

Her doorbell keeps ringing for 2 minutes already; as soon as she was supposed to leave came Alex smashing the doorbell button. “Ryan! Hey! Let’s go shopping!”

Alex yells as he bangs the door. Irritated and annoyed, Ryan took off her glasses and jacket and went to open the door. “Alex,” said Ryan calmly, “It is MY DAY-OFF.,” expounded Ryan.

Alex just smiled brightly and linked arms with Ryan as he pulled Ryan into her room, “I know! That’s why we need to go shopping! I need to get new clothes!” Ryan pulled her arms and sighed deeply to control her temper. “Alex, YOU need clothes. I have no…” Alex intervened, “no, no… WE need clothes. There’s going to be a Corporate party between our company and the Russian Airlines, inviting all other businesses involved and you, as the ONLY secretary we have at the moment will have to attend the party. Got it? Now, go, and I’ll wait.” Explained Alex as he put his arms across his chest, intending to wait on Ryan. Ryan just heaved another sigh and clicked her tongue.

She took back her round glasses and put on her pink jacket, and said, “I’m ready. Let’s go.” Alex looked at her from head to toe and put on a dissatisfied face. “YOU are going out with ME like that? like… THAT, with ME?”

His face traced with disgust could not comprehend what is going on with her outfit, but one thing he realized about Ryan is that she has no sense of fashion AT ALL.

Alex dragged Ryan from one shop to another, fitting all

different kinds of dresses; it went on for 4 hours until they finally bought

the perfect dress for both of them.

“parfait! Tres Bien Ryan! That dress fits you perfectly!”

Alex exclaimed in excitement, clapping his hands. “We will take that, please,

put it under my name.”

Both had their dresses wrapped and now onto their separate ways. But before they

say their goodbyes, Alex handed out the invitation card for the party, “Don’t

forget to be there, Ryan. See you there, bye!”

In relief, she went back to the shop to let the employees

send her dress tomorrow afternoon to her apartment.

Putting on her white cap, she heads straight to the library

before it closes.

As she reaches the location, she noticed how ordinary the library looks like. A

café right before you enter the library with only the sign HIS LIBRARY written

on it.

Entering the library, nothing out of the ordinary was in

there; however, as she scans through the shelves, she noticed a separate isle

in the library's very back. Passing through all the frames, the book's

particular shelves were rusty and broken, however clean.

A book caught her attention; it's neither new, neither old. When

she was about to open the book, a voice stopped her from doing so… behind her

stood the man, silver hair with golden eyes, Harold Celis Grey… her target.
