Rule Number one [part 3]

He nodded his head holding eye contact with me, "Cool," he reached into his pokect pulling out a five dollar bill. He tossed it on the floor, "Here is your hush money."

"where is the rest ?" Sarah jumped off the bed grabbing the money and and held her hand out for more.

"Consider it a deposit."

"Deposit my ***. You send more than this on your stupid vape juice. I expect my payment in full by the end of the week." Sarah stuck her nose in the air and crossed her arms over her chest.

Liam laughed and poked her shoulder, "I don't work on your time frame, plus Handy said you were a bitch to her."

I interrupted, "Hannah."

"What?" He glared at me from my comment.

His eyebrows flattened and his mouth turned into a smirk, "oh, i know her know her name."

"Gross ! Get out!" Sarah threw one of her bed pillow at his face, but he caught it.

He tossed the pillow back on her bed, "See ya around, Emilie." He gave me a wink before waking out of the room and closing the door behind him.

I turned to face Sarah hoping my cheeks had lost the fire ant stings.

She stared straight through me, "Don't even think about it."

oh… I was definitely already thinking about it, but what she doesn't know can't hurt her.

Sliding my fingers across the stack of books, I land on Biology 101. I pick it up and slide it into my backpack. I can feel my phone vibrating in my back pocket as I close my locker.

"You bitch!"

Sarah runs up to me pointing to her phone in her hand.

I pull my phone out of my pocket, "it's in my pocket since i got here."

"Better have been," she bumped my hip with her, "I tried calling like fifteen thousands times."

I look down to see two missed calls. Sje can be so freaking dramatic sometimes, "well, what did you need."

She grabs both of my shoulders and pulls her hands off my shoulders amd pulls me to the side of the hallway, "What do I need? Let me see…" she playfully taps her chin pretending to be in thought, "Oh I remember! Freaking Jett Michaels broke up woth Charlotte! HE IS SINGLE!"

She said the last three words shaking my shoulders violently, drawing attention from everyone else around us. I pull her hands off my shoulders, "Clam yourself, you are drawing attention," she looks around and waits for me to continue, "I feel bad for Charlotte. No one deserves to be dumped." I shrugged my shoulders content with my answer.

Sarah's jaw dropped, "I don't even understand how we are friends."

She turned on her heels and started off down the hallway. I started jogging to catch up.
