A Brutal Execution

The clouds was dark and some lighting are dancing throughout the sky, thunder rumble across the land for it is the day of my execution.

I can hear the crowd yelling and screaming, saying that I the princess of the Corona kingdom is a curse bestowed from the heavens.

The guard at my back is cutting my hair for the execution, I can hear the people's laughter and grief even with this distance. I wonder what did I do wrong....

My body is field with bruises since they tortured me for three whole days before the execution.  To be honest it feels like I'm  living in hell, every part of my body is aching.

Why did father didn't put an effort on loving me?

This question has been circling inside my head in this entire time, just why? Is it because I lack the skills? But I've mastered everything in such a short period of time even though I've been stuck in that tower for 15 years!

And yet Cassandra wrapped my father around her fingers just like that!

Cassandra is supposed to be the daughter of the commander and at my 17th year birthday she revealed her identity.

I was really stunned at that day, of course I treated Cassandra as a dear friend of mine but not as a sister. I was supposed to be happy and yet I felt depressed.

The commander said that she was the lost princess.  At the day of my birth a single child was only born but inside the child hid two souls. Apparently my soul claimed victory leaving the other soul wandering and end up being Cassandra.

At that time Cassandra's mother were having difficulty on giving birth. Cassandra's mother is weak and fragile,  giving birth to a child is considered impossible in her case.

The lost soul considered it as an opportunity and collided with the dying child at the womb of her mother. Thus Cassandra was born.

They said its the result of drinking that enchanted flower.

Despite saving my mother's life, it cost us from losing my twin sister.  Later on I decided to welcome Cassandra with my warmest greetings but something felt off.

Cassandra's face was suddenly laughing with greed.

I never seen Cassandra making that face before and chills suddenly shiver through my shoulders.  So I asked myself 

" Is she really the Cassandra I know?"

Because of my ignorance I end up at this state.

A couple days ago, my mother died due to poisoning and Cassandra my beloved sister,  blamed me. I tried to prove my innocence but father didn't showed a single mercy.

It's not a surprise since throughout the year she bullied me every time. I never did knew she was that greedy.

Ah... Eugene.... you traitor!

When Cassandra started to dressed up properly, Eugene fell in love to her and was involve in poisoning my mother. At that moment I realized love really did turn people into fools.

And now I'm being executed.

Ah... their all staring at me..... are they perhaps happy?

The blade is slowly being release......

If God would give me one more time..... I would like to change my fate.
