The Birth of Chaos

So many people have gathered in front of the church. They are shouting and debating to execute the holy maiden for bringing the chaos that will destroy this world.

Inside the church, the holy knights gathered and also the higher ups of the church.

"Why did you keep this hideous thing in you?! Just why? For pete's sake you're the holy maiden of this kingdom and you know the this is a sin." Raphael, the leader of the holy knights and also Erica's childhood friend.

"This is not a hideous thing! This is my child! I know that this is a sin but I choose this path. I will carry it into my grave....... Just don't kill my child."

Erica started to cry not because she is scared of dying but because of her child to be born in this commotion.

Raphael cannot bear the sight of the woman he loved crying so much. He hated the man who made her bear a curse like this, no other than the demon king.

"Raphael, please help me one last time. " Erica said weakly.

"E-erica? What's happening to you? You looks so pale."

"I think I'm about to gave birth and giving birth means I will die. So please let my child live far-away from this kingdom. Please........Aaaah!"

"Erica! Please hold on! I'll carry you to room!"

Raphael carried Erica into her room and called the church's personal doctor and the mage.

It's his first time to see a person who will give birth to a baby with the holy blood and cursed blood in it's body.

"Aaaaaaaaaaah!!!!!!!" Erica shouted painfully.

"Why did you cal-" The mage didn't manage to finish what he wanted to say when he saw the holy maiden's

Seeing a high level of magic in the holy maiden's body and also black fogs around her.

The power of darkness and light is rampaging.

"Doctor! Mage! Please help her! Please I'm begging you." Raphael begged to this two people.

"I-ill do my best, it's my first to encounter this." The doctor said.

The mage put a shield on the doctor's body so that she wouldn't get hurt. The mage will be the one who stabilize the magic power coming from the holy maiden.

The doctor needs to do caesarian method to the holy maiden.

"Please a magic to the maiden that can remove pain."

The doctor started the operation. It took her minutes to open up and removed the baby inside. All of them was surprised because there's no baby but an egg.

It was an egg with odd markings and carvings with it's shell.

"Sir Raphael please hold this egg carefully, the baby is inside." The doctor commanded.

Raphael nodded.

The egg feels so warm that Raphael felt how much Erica loved this child.

"Sir Raphael! This is bad! The holy maiden is breathing slowly!" The doctor said.

"Please do anything to make her live!"

"Sir! Her magic is getting slower and weaker! Sir I can't hold anymore, the body is rejecting my magic!" The mage's hand was shaking in pain.

And then the time suddenly stopped.

A bright light came on the holy maiden's body.

"Raphael, Thank you."

Raphael saw smile of the woman he loved for the last time. After that the holy maiden's soul faded."

The time came back to normal.
