Prologue

THE gardener opened the iron gate and a Mercedes Benz entered. They slowly ran the long driveway.

"Is Jake's car at the end of the garage, Uncle Vic?" Era asked even though she was sure it was her lover's car.

"Yes, Ma'am."

The girl smiled. The lover's visit is frequent. Maybe because they are about to get married. In her twenty-first year and that is four months from now.

Martin Arganza voted for kiel. It must be because the young man is gentlemanly and kind. sHe was content with holding her hand and kissing her on the cheek. Sometimes she even shows a motive for the young man to do more. But she deliberately restrained herself and always said that she wanted to be presented clean at the altar.

But Era's happiness was flawed. Viviane Arganza, her mother does not like Kiel. Kiel is an orphan and his aunt just has it and his dad is just an ordinary employee. Viviane is not poor so she knows that Kiel's poverty is not the reason her mother hates her boyfriend.

It does openly protest. When Kiel begged with her aunt, Viviane did not show up. Even so, his father wanted a law in front of them. And this is exactly what Kiel wants to marry them right away.

Martin says her mother has been unreasonable since she was confined to a wheelchair due to her falling down the stairs when she was just a young.

Her dad wants her to be happy. sHe did not want to disobey Martin Arganza.

"Father and Kiel will be shocked by that, Uncle Vic". What father knows is that I will measure the wedding dress seamstress," she told the driver. "But I changed my mind. I just want to make a wedding gown with a famous couturier in NY," the girl continued. The driver parked the Mercedes Benz right in front of the large door and the girl got off.

"Follow me with what I bought, Uncle Vic," she ordered the driver.

The driver shook his head in the backseat and picked up a large plastic bag. Era bought it at the department store.

"Will she be able to take these shoes even though her shoes are many ? Can she still use them or can they just hide them? They will save a lot of money ..." the driver whispered while pulling the shopping bag with only three boxes of shoes.

He was going up the big stairs when he saw the young lady coming down.

"Era! Come back, Era!" They heard from the shout where the master stand.

"No!" the girl shouted running down the big stairs. The driver saw tears and panic on her face.

If the driver does not back down, Era will crash. The girl ran out of the house. Uncle Vic quickly followed and saw Era running along the driveway. The girl came out of the gate.

sHe continues to run. There is no definite destination and the eyes are blurred with tears. There are one or two vehicles encountered that avoid futile running.

sHe was in the middle of the street as if she were out of his mind.

At a turn a vehicle arrives. The driver saw him and quickly stepped on the brakes. Yet it is inevitable that she will hit by the car!
