chapter 3 | Monophobia

The feeling of my phone vibrating in my pocket makes me get it out and check what provoked this. A message from my boss.

I put my phone on the sofa now that the conversation is done and lay my eyes on my laptop placed right next to me. I really like to know he trust me enough to let me take care of his daughter whenever he's busy or away. I feel useful and helpful again in my life.

I shove the last piece of sandwich left in my mouth to eat and take my mind away, turning my head to the left to let it rest on the back of my sofa and focus on my laptop. I slide my finger over the keypad and work on the new project I need to complete the most I can.
