A happily ever...after?

*evening when Samuel comes back from work*

Selena's POV

I sometimes wonder what life would be like if Samuel hadn't come in, I doze off into our memories when he first asked me out to prom, then he confessed his feelings for me, got married to me and now... Here we are, standing strongly together like no other couples could.

Some liked to call it a match made in heaven, others like to call it a blessing in disguise, I feel satisfied when people look at us with that envious look. It makes me feel like I have done something good in my past life to deserve such happiness in my life.

while I was deep in my thoughts a pair of large hands covered my eyes, his deep and calm, soothing voice said, ”guess who”

Without looking back I knew my hubby came back from a hard day at work, a smile formed on my face as I took his hands down from my face and pivoted to face him directly looking

Deeply into his deep blue eyes.

A smile crept through his face and we both was just gazing at each other not saying a word but a million words were spoken through our intimacy.

He slowly took my small hands into his big ones and kissed it gently.

I leaned forward and gave him a peck on his cheeks then teasing him a little by licking his lips.

At this point, Samuels eyes just turned blank and he seemed like he was hiding something.

he slowly let go of my hands and pushed me away gently till we were at a safe distance.

I didn't think too much of It, just brushed it off saying he was exhausted from a tiring day at work. I changed the subject to make my self less embarrassed in this awkward situation by asking him

”have you eaten yet darling?”

”ahh. Yes I have, I'm going to bed and how many times have I told you not to wait for me and eat without me, you know I have company dinners every day”

”i know baby, I just wanted to wait for you so we can eat together”

”you know what, I can't be asked with your attitude today, I'm going to sleep in the guest room”

”i-”

It's alright, it's my fault I shouldn't stress him out so much knowing he goes work at sunrise and comes back at sunset, obviously he would be drained of energy!

I should listen to his commands more, I feel really upset that I made him frustrated...

I know just the way to make it up to him! I'll give him a gift which also overlaps our anniversary.

Oh well, I'm going to bed now, I cant wait to see his reaction when he gets the *gift*

Zack's POV

*new York, just before dusk*

*zack walks into the Santiago mansion, many servants greet him*

I haven't realised how lucky I am to marry such an amazing woman, my lovely fiance aria, finally I can call you my woman by law!

I spot her over my shoulder, she didn't even have to speak, some people say it's telepathy others say it's when you can sense when a person you love is close by,

I turn to her direction with a smile across my face, it's our official engagement ceremony in 2 days and I'm finally going to reveal to everyone, my fiance is aria!

I swoop her into my hands and she hugs me tightly and I hug her tightly, her feminine scent crawled through my nose and as I inhaled. I felt a warm sensation that screamed... Home!

She broke from my grasp,

”okay tiger, chill you're making me suffocated! I can't breathe!”

I slap her butt and say,

”this is what you get for defying me!”

”okay master, I'm sorry!”

I approach her saying

”sorry? You know what I want you to say!”

She runs around the whole house with me chasing her around the house, this is the kind of relationship I love! Hence I married my best friend

After playing a short game of cat and mouse she finally accepted defeat and said,

”master, the great master, I am your woman!”

We both broke into laughter and I took tho opportunity to claim her lips

she kissed me back but then she felt reluctant, I let it go because I've been working too long today and I wanted to have a shower.

I whispered in her ears ” you can never escape my wrath once we get married! Rethink your decisions , baby girl!”

I turned away towards the stairs and I looked back and it almost looked like she did ”rethink her decisions” bit her expression changed as soon as she realised I stopped.

I turn back and make my way upstairs and into the bathroom, wondering about the *gift* I will get her tomorrow.

Making my way to the bathroom I smile to myself, I finally claimed aria as my woman!
