Those Words

As soon as she woke up the first thought that hit her mind was about her dad's decision.

She quickly got out of the bed and rushed to the bathroom to fresh up and stormed down the stairs to the hallway and quickly took a glimpse of her parents in the dining area , her mom was busy in the kitchen and her dad was digging his head into the newspaper and then came a voice breaking the silence which rather sounded deep and intellectual saying that"Mei , about yesterday I have something to tell you so come sit down." Thoughts running wild in her mind and feeling chills down her spine she quickly responded and sat at the table, her mom came to the table with a plate with food and put it front of Mei and said"Whatever first eat your breakfast" now this was shocking, last night her mom had gone crazily angry and now she's acting like nothing happen at all. Her dad put down the newspaper and said "Yeah so which college are you planning to go to?" her eyes lit up and a truehearted smile spread on her face and told "thanks Dad, thank you so much for giving me a chance to let me realize my dreams"and quickly ran into his arms and at the side her mom was giving a happy smile to both of them as though she had no issues at all.

After a month's packing and preparation she finally left to Boston but she had a weird plan, since her parents can't afford to pay for the music college in Boston she decided to go to a commerce college and complete her schooling there and at the same time attend the music course offered in the music college and persuade her dreams while also learning business management so that she could hold a degree but life had a lot of things prepared for her in Boston.

She lived in a dorm of her college, it was quite spacious with an accommodation facility for two people, while she was wondering about her roommate there was a nock on the door, Mei rushed to open the door and found that there was a girl of her own age with dewy deep purple hair , dark eyes , fair skin with a skinny figure in casual t-shirt and jeans stood with a few bags , she said "Hey are you done with your staring if yes let me introduce myself , my name is Shuri and I'm your roommate from now on , let's get along well alright? Mei had a feeling that Shuri was a good and reliable person so she quickly gave her hug and said "let's be best friends" and Shuri hugged her back saying that "I'd love to". College started a few days later and Mei and Shuri were already inseparable, they attended the same class as well. Shuri knew that Mei was not a normal teenage girl she was someone who wants to make her mark on this world and want people to know who she is from a mere friendship of two to three weeks as Mei was a totally cheerful, thoughtful and intelligent person with a high iq but besides that she was one of the best fighters since childhood, she is so obsessed with martial arts that she mastered it very well but she never expected her hobby could bring her up in this cruel world in ways she couldn't even imagine.
