Best Enemies
The stars in the pitch black sky shined as mysterious as ever. Today was newmoon. The perfect day to sneak in someones rich household and get some sellable things. The more worthy and shiny the better. I hid my silver hair in a black cap and covered my face in an also black mask. It would be a total no go if I wore something eyecatching as a thief. Even with my snow white skin and my silver hair, eyes and wings I never was catched before. And today I won't be caught either. After I found the giant villa I flew the way up to the roof because there was the only open window. I flew through it and searched the room for any valuable things. Up here I only found some big old books. Normally I would not look twice at those worthless stuff but somehow I felt attached to them.
"What's with the books?", I asked quietly myself while I put them in my magic bag.
The magic bag was my greatest creation because you can put everything in it you want without it getting full or heavy. I had to bind it with my magic that its weight would not bother me but after a lot of magic training it is no big deal for me. Its weight should be around 623 kilograms right now. Without magical force I would not be able to run around with it.
"Stop thinking! Just go downstairs!", came out of my mouth quietly.
Without making any noises I flew down the stairs and searched through all of the rooms. There were many golden and silver items but also many high quality gemstones. But for a villa like this it was not enough. Maybe there were some treasures in the basement. Carefully I opened the old and rusty door. I took a few steps but it was too dark to see anything.
...'Luminous Digeli '...
A little ball of pure silver shining light flew above my head so I was able to see everything. But after I casted the spell I wished I never broke in this house. I meant, it was not the first time I saw something such cruel but it was nothing I could ever get used to.
"H-help...us", pleaded one of the poor locked in fairies.
They all were in terrible conditions. Some of their wings even got cracks or were halfway ripped. Their bodies were way to skinny and I was afraid that they would not make it some more days. Their situation made me remember my past. I also begged for help but nobody came to save me or even wanted to do so. If I want to save them, I had to do it now!
"Don't worry! I will get you and your friends out of here in no time!", I promised her while I held her hand gently.
"Please don't leave us alone here! THEY will be back anytime! I'm just so scared!", she began to cry.
I made her looking me in my eyes. Her expression changed from scared to suprised.
"Y-you, Prince of Underworld?", she said it more to herself than to me.
"I hate that nickname but that doesn't matter right now. I promise that I will get all of you out here and I will make 'THEM' pay, alright?"
After she nodded I left the cold basement. I was mad. Really mad. Those bastards will definitely be punished by the PDA. If I did that, the PDA would hunt me with way more men down. I just had to draw their attention right now. I looked for the security system of the villa that I avoided successfully before. With full intent I stepped through the sensor. Its siren was more loud than me ears could handle so I had to press my hands on my ears. Sometimes I really did hate my sensitive hearing. After only a minute or two the PDA finally showed up. Right when they stepped in my sight I removed my mask so that they could recognize me.
"Police and Detective department Alfea, we want you to raise your hands and stand still, Prince of Underworld!", shouted an officer I had never seen before.
"You must be new, my dear. But if you want me to stand still then catch me, you idiot!"
I ran in the villa knowing that the new one followed me. He was fast but I did not even try to be faster. He had to see what was happening in that basement. In front of the open basement door he suddenly jumped on back. My wings got squashed what made me panic. But even the fact that my promise got crashed filled me up with fear. I did not want to feel guilty. I did not want them to haunt me as ghost. If I only was able to make him go in there! But his body was way to heavy to push him off me. I had to do at least something even if it would not work.
..."*L*uminous Digeli!"...
I shouted the spell. The light was to bright for my enemies eyes so he made himself turn away from the silver light. That was my chance! I pushed him roughly from myself and ran as fast as a lightning inside the cellar while my spell followed me. For some reason I tripped and a disgusting pain came from my ankles. The same strong pain in both of them. Great. Just my luck. Like a rob I moved closer to the locked in fairies. I almost could not think because of the pain but I had to ignore it. The rescue of the ones right here next to me was way more important than me. It was not too late for them like me.
"What the..?", the officer seemed to finally went in here.
I could hardly speak while suppressing the pain but it was understandable.
"You see, not every rich person is good. These fairies were locked in for several days or even weeks without any reason! They just felt like torturing some poor people. But look in what condition they are! Please help them and punish the right ones! Even if you look me up in prison, I won't care!"
The newbie looked like he was about to throw up. Did not the get trained for situations like these?
"Send some people down here and call some ambulances", he spoke to his criball, his crystal communication ball.
He got closer to the door and open it with the spell. They were all free now. My job was done. I started to cry from happiness and I laughed a little. I saved them! I finally saved someone! After a few laughs my vision went blurry. Now I only felt the cruel pain and that I was about to pass out.
"Hey, what's with you? Are you okay?!"
That was the last thing I heard before everything went black.
