"Sanyukta", A black haired girl with red spectacles on her brown coloured eyes turned around at the sound of her name being called. Swati, her one and only Friend in her middle school year waved at her as she stood near the door of their examination hall. Sanyukta turned her eyes towards her book and approached her friend with small steps. Swati, turning impatient shoved her inside the examination room which resulted her colliding with someone standing near the door. As the embarrassing moment passed through the neurones of Sanyukta's nerves she found herself laid flat on the floor with someone under her. She quickly got up and sat on her assigned sit without looking elsewhere. After the exam Swati and the other girls got busy teasing her with her romantic accident before exam. One whispered excitedly, " 'Sanyu' did you managed to write all the answers correctly or were you too excited to recall anything..." "Well I heard Souryadeep is still single, you can have your try". Sanyukta would have ignored them like usual but unfortunately Souryadeep was her childhood crush whom she has already decided was her Prince charming and the most special person in her life like the love novels she read excitedly in her free time. Her secret feelings were not known to the others not even Swati with whom she shared almost everything happening in her life. Sanyukta, who's face was red from embarrassment turned her head towards Swati in hope for some help. Swati was busy eyeing someone among the group of boys on the other side of the class. Sanyukta followed Swati's line of vision and spotted Souryadeep. The embarrassing smile vanished from her face and she was back to her aloof self and ignored the other girls until they got tired of teasing her and left. It was not long before Swati excitedly announced that she and Souryadeep started dating. Swati's words were, "Although he is not my type and I don't like him that much, he is better than the other idiots I dated before, so why don't I give it a try."

This is what happened 6 years ago. Now Sanyukta is a practising doctor at a renowned hospital and have lost connections with Swati since they enrolled in different University. Swati and Souryadeep broke up during high school as they decided they were better off without each other. Sanyukta felt guilty for feeling a little joyful after hearing about her best friend's breakup. Soon Souryadeep was a forgotten topic in their conversations which also became scarce over the years as they got busy in each other's individual lives. Sanyukta who finally got rid of her introvert self is now a successful person with a cheerful, carefree, kind and adventurous personality. Everyone around her seems to fall in love with her.

Well it is sometimes true when you say that the world is a small place. Sanyukta was not ready to find Souryadeep looking up at her from where he lead on the floor of the hospital as she looked down at him from her position above him. Warm hopes of forgotten feelings was felt by Sanyukta as the sound of her frantic heartbeat filled her ears.
