Reality (First Universe)

The peacefulness of the place enveloped me as I look up into the stars. I extended my arm trying to reach the stars; took one, acting like I can hold it, I took my hand back and placed it in my heart. Arent you like the stars? I closed my eyes as the air fills my lungs.

"Ysson" A voice called out. I stood up; faced the person and there stood the star that I fully love.

"Krish" Upon hearing those, she smiled. Ah, those captive smile. Oh how I love being the cause of her smiles.

"You left me in the bed.. again!" I laughed as she stomped her feet on the ground like a kid who's having a tantrum.

I spoke, "But how can I wake an innocent angel from it's sleep?" I carefully touched her cheeks like she's a fragile thing that could shatter anytime.

She then hugged me and started crying "I always thought Ive lost you when I dont see you with me." My poor angel, she's afraid that i'll leave her. I smiled bitterly to that thought.

"Do you remember the time of our wedding?" I asked; she looked up to me as I see the stars shine in her eyes. The day when she was crying loudly while walking into the aisle, how her cries got louder the longer it takes and how she stuttered while giving the vows. She was so happy that she didnt know what to do, so was I. I laughed and placed my forehead on hers.

"Are you asking me that so you could tease me again? You always do that!" She pouted, annoyed by the thought that I'll tease her with her loud cries. I am very happy that I made her my wife; I was very happy that she chose me as her husband. Isnt it great to think like you may never be her first love but you are her last love.

"Why are you crying baby?" I laughed; didnt even notice that I was already crying. I shook my head as I pull her by her waist.

"Do you love me Krish?" Her forehead wrinkled as she hear those words that I said

"What do you mean 'do I love you'?! Ofcourse i do!! I love you much." This childish little girl, I cant even read what's on her mind at this moment. I cupped her face and asked

"Can we seal our love with a kiss?" She smiled widely as if she's been wanting to kiss me as she nods slowly. I took the runaway hair of hers behind her ears as I kiss her. I closed my eyes and felt her warm lips touch mine. It took me three minutes before I decide to open my eyes but it's not her that I see. There are three people that's standing infront of me wearing a white gown.

"Krish?" I asked; I stammered. I slowly looked around the room looking for my star

A guy then heaved a sigh, straightly looking at me "Please Ysson, stop killing yourself! Krish wont be happy with that" Again, a tear fell off. Not because of happiness but sadness.

"Let me see Krish please" I spoke in a low voice, enough for him to hear what I said but the guy only shook his head.

"Accept it, she died."

She died? Ah, My dear star. I remember, I would never forget how my world fell when I heard that someone raped you and killed you over and over again. I wouldnt forget how your voice, the one they sent where you were begging for help. But I was too late.

Why is everything blurry? I blinked and felt something wet on my cheeks. It's all my fault, if I couldve find her sooner.

"It's not your fault." Krish voice spoke in my head. It felt like she was trying to wipe my tears but she couldnt.

An image of her smiling came across my mind, "I love you" She spoke, the last words she said as her voice fade away. My tears rolled down harder, my heart ached. It tore my soul apart. Why? Why did it happen?

You were really like a star, Beautiful and mesmerizing but i never get to keep you literally. All I could do was keep you in my heart. I may be the last man you loved but they never gave me the opportunity to be with you. Reality, Reality hurts so much.

I fell back into the bed as I look up into the ceiling. I grabbed something from my chest and set it free up above, you're free now, my star. Im letting you go. I'll always love you. Until we meet again.
