Chapter 1: The Heir and Heiress

"Ah..hmm...ah f*ck harder!"

"Hahaha you really are a slut, unlike your cousin. A pure and quiet angel like her isn't really your relative correct?"

"How could- ah sh*t, right there please!"

"Sir, the prince is here to see you now."

"Tsk, that motherf*cker. Lead him to the meeting room."

"Yes sir."

"Eh, why are you stopping? I was almost there."

"We'll continue later alright? I have business so go home first."

The man deeply frowned.

"I am not here for such matters. I came to speak about your behavior inside my palace. I don't mind you going around women at broad daylight but do it somewhere else unless you don't want this job anymore."

"I-i apologize sir. I will reflect on this matter."

'Tsk, you're just a kid. I can take care of you by your father-'

"Don't think about my father in my presence. He is dead." The man glared at him and left leaving behind a warning.

"Please reflect on it Mr. Jones. You understand what I mean."

'No he can't possibly know it. Can he? I'm doomed.'

[Earlier that day.]

"Madam Hale, I can't possibly believe you. I'm not able to connect to do such things so please reconsider."

The woman elegantly raised one hand and shook her head. She took out three folders each containing evidences of the misdeeds of the servants and nobles connected to the Ruby Palace, Emerald Palace and the Sapphire Hall.

"This...is it true? How are you able to gather such knowledge my lady?"

Once again, the woman only shook her head.

"Ah...so the rumors of you unable to speak are true. I deeply apologize if I offended you."

The woman stood up and glanced at him, she held a peice of paper and gave it to him. She then left after.

"Your highness, it doesn't matter and it will never do. I am glad to be of help and if the future permits, I hope to work with you once more. - Victoria Hale"

The prince smirked after he read Victoria's message.

The Hale and Rowan Empire are the largest among the kingdoms and empires. For them to engage their daughter and son was a bold move considering the amount of people who despise the Rowan Empire.

The Hales has two daughters; Victoria, the crowned princess and Mila, cousin of Victoria. Though Victoria is what people call her, this was not her real name. It was only a name given as a cover up. She is a mute though not entirely. Mila on the other hand, is a cunning fox. She is nowhere near her name which meant 'gracious'. She hangs around men all day and prefers to have s*x slaves. At this time and year, this wasn't illegal.

Victoria's real name was Sheridan Cyrille Griselda Hale. Quite the long one. It's meaning was 'untamed yet lordly in a hero's dark battle'. A little awkward for a woman and offensive to commoners. Victoria was given by the priest to help them cover this up.

The Hales has a distinct feature that made them different. In the royal bloodline, one must posses clear ocean eyes and silver hair in order to be crowned as heir in the age of eighteen. Victoria had these and so she was crowned as the next in line. Mila, blinded by jealousy indulged in pleasure in order to remove her sadness.

The Rowan Empire however, had six sons. Their appearance for the chosen heir was jet black hair and the 'demon' eyes. This is only obtained by one son of each Rowan family and it ends up in a bloody war. Lucien Gavriel Rowan, the crowned prince, had to cut off the arm of one of his own cousins in order to gain the favor of the current emperor and be crowned as the next ruler.

He was a twenty-one years old man who has jet black hair and golden eyes that turns red when he uses mana. This was known as the 'demon' eyes.

Victoria and Lucien were engaged at the age of sixteen and nineteen. They weren't exactly close to each other but they are a good match in terms of intellect, physique and emotions.

Indeed a match made in heaven.
