The beginning

It's a morning just like any other, it's a school day. The teacher comes into class with a long haired boy. "Quiet everyone, this is Eliel, he just transferred here. treat him well..." the class starts to chatter, he bows and greets everyone. The teacher directs him to an empty seat by the window. "Jeremy, show him around after class" says the teacher. Jeremy just nods.

During free period, a bunch of the class came to talk to him. These people have been classmates since the 8th grade, this was their senior year and it's not normal for a transfer at this stage, especially during the middle of the year.

Eliel seemed to quiet and Jeremy found it uncomfortable. "I don't trust that guy, look at him with his long hair, cut the hair already, what time period are you from!?" he was telling this to his friend Josh. And they laughed together. Eliel looks at them and smirks...

"Did you see that? I think he heard us..." exclaimed Josh. "Are you being serious right now? Look at the distance between us and the noise swarming him " responded Jeremy.

After classes, Jeremy gave him a tour of the school like he was instructed but then took him to a place he knew they'd find trouble. Eliel a very good looking guy walks past this one class and the reaction Jeremy was hoping for happens, girls swam the door and windows, Eliel keeping his calm, smiles and waves at the people. The school bully saw this and told his underlings to call them over.

Jeremy was smiling so much that he couldn't contain himself any longer. Eliel refuses to go, Jeremy did not think this would happen so he pleaded that they just go to avoid problems. after some convincing, they go.

They enter a room and there's like 30 people in the room. At the centre of the room, sat a guy that looked like he came straight from an 90s comic book...

"This is the new kid huh?" spoke the boss, with a look of disgust in his eyes. "alright kid, listen up, this is my playground, every week, I want you to bring me money. it's its protection fee, yea that's what it is, protection. if you dont want problems, you'll do as I tell you to. " Eliel stares quietly into his eyes. Jeremy is happy, thinking he's about to get beaten up. "you didn't hear me? look at this pathetic fool. give me your watch too if you know what's good for you"

"Are you done?" spoke Eliel. if you are then I'll be take my leave. that annoyed the bully and told his underlings to beat them both. Jeremy, " yeah, beat them, wait what? what did I do?" " you brought this arrogant fool here with you" says an underling

Eliel defends himself successfully without fighting back then leaves. Leaving Jeremy there with the gangsters.
