Kirah, Kirah, Do Your Best!

Kirah, Kirah, Do Your Best!

[Chapter 1]: Superpowers Part 1

"Ahhhhh..."

In the middle of the night, where the moon shone so bright, an ill-fated girl was born. Ready to face her struggle ahead.

In the humble home of the Roberts, Caitlyn Roberts had given birth her daughter and named her Kirah Mary. Despite of being a commoner, she was blest with an extraordinary beauty. With her beautiful blue eyes and face figures, certainly you could say that she had that rare beauty. As if she has a beauty of a woman from a foreign country. You will be in an awe seeing her.

Kirah Mary was raised by her parents with love. Leading their lives to a dignified life as a happy family. Though poor, still, they were happy and contented of what they had. Until a great tragedy befall unto them. It was when Kirah was still ten years old.

Kirah's father, Willie, decided to went abroad to go back to his hometown, Kanto. Kanto is a prosperous country. For it was there, where one of the greatest company in the whole world resides, the Roxanne's Company.

They opposed his going but they failed to convinced him not to go.

"Father! Please, don't go. I'll miss you."

'I have to.' Willie whispered to himself.

Kirah pleaded to her father crying as she clung in his arms. Her mother was confused, too. 'But why'. This was her thought as she tried to get near to Willie.

"Why should you go? We're happy even with this situation."

Willie did not answer. Caitlyn dragged Kirah away from her father and then Kirah began to cry louder but she could not do anything. Her father silently went out carrying his bag, wiping his tears.

"Please, you don't have to do this. How can we live without you."

Not listening, Willie continued walking away from them.

"Willie!"

Caitlyn could not stop her tears bursting out.

Who could have thought that, that would be their last meeting. A day after his departure, he did not contact his family. Even the day after that day. A week had passed and still he did not contacted them. Kirah seemed lifeless. Their happy moments and their bonding as one family, she missed it all.

Caitlyn on the other hand, seemed to be bothered of what could have happened to her husband. It was at that time that she noticed an envelope inserted in a book in their bookshelf. She get it and opened it. Inside was a letter from Willie saying:

"Dear my love, I hope you won't be able to find this but if you will, don't worry about me that much. I'm doing this for your own sake and our daughter. If, by any chance, I won't be able to come back, I hope you will protect our daughter at any cause. Let her live in normal life. You, too. This is the only thing I thought of for the both of you to be safe. I'm sorry. I think this is it. I'm really sorry. I hope this will not be in vain. Your love, Willie Roberts."

As she read these words, her shining tears fell unceasingly. She was pounding her chest hard. Though the last part of the letter was vague, she know her husband will never be back again.

Almost five years have passed, the mother and daughter lived as if nothing had happened. They might be recovered outside, they were still hoping that Willie would come back. Especially Kirah for she did not know thar her father was dead already. Even without her father, they tried to live normal.

"Mother, I'll get going."

Kirah ran towards the school bus and hopped in. She sat down at the left corner of the last seats in the bus and at the same time waved her hand to her mother.

"Hey, Mary Dwarf. You seemed to be stunning today, huh." Some girls laughed at Kirah. Though she had her stunning beauty, we could say, like, she had not enough height? Her height was below the normal, I guess. On top to that, she is so ugly. Because of the request of her father to live without gaining much attention, Kirah has to disguise herself to be an ugly short girl. She is a girl with a beautiful face after all.

She disguises herself as a girl with many acne, wearing big circled glasses and wearing a ponytail hairstyle.

"Hey! Aren't gonna react or something?" She never reacted to any of them. Many of her classmate defended her although none of them are her friends . "Cut it out already Melissa."

She had that kindness to the point that she looks like someone oblivion to this cruel and dangerous world.

Kringggg...

The bell rang. "Goodbye ma'am."

'It's time to go home.' Kirah seemed excited while leaping and leaping over and humming as she was about to leave their classroom. 'What could it be, what could it be?"

"Hey Miss Ugly Dwarf."

Kirah ran towards her mother happily after getting off the bus and greeted her mother with her grandeur smile. She embraced her mother tightly. 'What could be the gift father gave me this time.'

"Mother, where is father's gift."

Kirah's birthday was coming. She was so glad and that she is turning fifteen years old. Although her father can't be with them in celebrating her birthday, she was still happy for her father always send her gift. That's what she thought so.

"Your birthday is still tomorrow. Be patient my dear."

She kissed her daughter's forehead and they entered home. As she turned around, a tear fell down through her cheek for she pitied her daughter for its ignorance. 'My poor little baby.'

"At last, class is over. Hello vacation days."

Kirah graduated in high school and now she's moving up to senior high school (grade 10). She noticed some changes in herself as she turned fifteen but she ignored it. It was just then while she was reading that she learned more quickly than before. She also have fast physical changes like how she is growing faster that it could be noticeable.

"Mother, didn't you notice anything weird about me?"

"Of course, I'd noticed." Her mother answered while smirking and continued, "You are a very good daughter. Isn't that weird?". Well, she was convinced that her mother did not noticed it at all but as the owner of the body, she know for sure that she is growing weirdly.

"Mom, I'll just visit my friend and have some fun, too."

Lie. It was a lie. As if she had a friend in their neighborhood. She had a friend but lived far from their home. The truth was that she wanted to pay a visit to a doctor to consult about her condition.

"That's normal. You may have a Late Adolescence Syndrome. That's why you grew faster than normal." 'Thank goodness. That gave me a sigh of relief. Nothing's weird.'
