Prologue

Carl is regarded as the medical genius of 21st-century medicine after he had created the cure for cancer.

Researching for a pill that could cure any kind of disease, he mistakenly concocted a pill that can prolong a person's life.

Carl's colleague found out about the pill. He then kidnapped Carl and forced him to give him the formula for the pill that can prolong one's life.

Carl knew that even if he gives it to him, he will still kill him in the end. With no hope of surviving the night. Carl closed his eyes and prayed to the heavens.

He thanked God for the wonderful life He has given him. For making him His instrument to help others who are suffering from their illnesses and for allowing him to create medicine that can alleviate pains.

He heard a big sound and he felt pain in his chest. He was shot by a gun. Carl opened his eyes and stared at the person who shoots him.

He took something from one of his blazers' secret pockets. In his hand is the Life Prolonging Pill. He then swallowed it.

He once again closed his eyes and let out a sigh of relief and smile. When he opened his eyes, he was suddenly at a front of a door. He opened it and a long-bearded man greeted him. It was the God who he had helped when He was wounded while traveling on earth.

He told Carl of his kindness towards Him, how he had helped Him without asking for anything in return. Because of this, He granted Carl a new life. Life in another world where magic existed.

God asked Carl what he wanted as power, he replied that he wants nothing but the impossible. And so God granted him the ability to do all.

God told Carl things about the new world. from the smallest to the most important. During their discussion, God handed Carl a bead, He then told Carl to placed it on his wrist. Carl's wrist then absorbs the bead and eventually disappeared.

He asks God, what is the bead for? God replied it is to help him in his new life in the other world. That with the help of the bead not only it acts as a spatial place, but it will also help him understand everything he wanted to understand by simply touching a book about the thing he wants to learn.

A bell suddenly rang. God told Carl it's time, he will now send him to the other world. Carl did not ask anything and just simply stood while God's appearance is slowly fading away.

At last, Carl has arrived in the new world. He found himself standing in a forest. He then felt something in his hand. When he looked down, he saw the pill that can prolong a person's life. He was confused because he remembered that he had already eaten it and now it's in his hands again.

Nonetheless, he still swallowed it again, and lighting struck him giving him an overwhelming power. The ability to do what he wants.

...PS, you might be wondering why the name of the character/s is so simple, well I don't want to complicate their names because I have been to a situation where I can't recognize who's who when the character's name is based on Chinese....
