Chapter 3 "Another foreigner"

(Monday morning at tacloban city)

William Junior: Ey take me to a nearby hotel.

Driver: Oh? Americano and which hotel are u suggusting to go?

William: Surprise me.

Driver: yes boss...

Driver: Hey boss... Are you new here or something boss?

William: Im new here, why'd you ask?

Driver: Earlier when we're suppose to leave the parking place you said "Surprise me" your the only first passenger who says that to me.

William: Hmm, if you say so man...

Driver: If your new here boss i suggest you have to be careful around the streets after I drop you off outside to the hotel boss.

William: Oh so your saying your gonna drop me off into a rich hotel with alot of poor people outside mocking an american just passing by?

Driver: correct im surprise that you clearly read my mind boss, but if you wan't to different hotel with no homeless people around i know the place, but its far away boss.

William: Far? Nevermind drop me off that you will surprise me.

Driver: Understood boss.

William: Hey why'd you call me boss in every end sentences?

Driver: Thats how we drivers use to say of our passengers and also for the foreigners, we respect foreigners who visits our country, its more fun in the philipines boss!

William: Well i'll be damned, but what the martial law and the drug war?

Driver: ...Do you really want to know boss? Okey... We filipinos tried everything for the foreigners to not do what the filipinos do in the bad side of our attitudes, we got rules here boss, only we do is sharing fun time experience with you foreigners who wants to visit in our beloved country, some of us filipinos split 30% by 70% other 30% is sharing bad sides while the other 70% that the filipinos will must defend the foreigners any bad situation, Like drugs and many others boss, We thought everything is is now in order but what i said earlier... The 30% is still active today, if the other 30% filipinos listen to our president no can do a drama death scene, but they didn't listen, our president doesn't know how to control the drugs but there is one operation can control the drugs boss.

William: Yes i saw it on T.V, operation martial law in order.

Driver: Correct but thats not all, after the martial law was now in order, The protesters was born thinking president is stupid, for me even if im filipino one my my kind in 30% are stupid, if they were listening the president is to stop drugs no one will die but yet one of my kind wanted money just like in other countries selling drugs boss.

William: I never thought there could be other filipinos are defending foreigners...

Driver: Look thats from the past now boss you should go and enjoy our culture, and we're here now boss

William: The hotel is Je'nes Hotel and i can see the homeless people outside, not so many though

William: I forgot that i don't have the money here, hey i'll be ba-

Driver: don't worry, the ride is for free boss.

William: Wait seriously? No man you need money for your life!

Driver: Don't worry this is just between you and me boss, here have my number boss

Driver: Call me when you need me, I'll be there as your "escape driver" when your in a hurry of course, and my name is Fred just fred see yah boss.

(Fred left the place)

William: His a good man someday imma going to give this man an "F" for RESPECT, so anyways so this is the place he drops me, welp time to run to the door

(William sprint to the door)

William: Heh... Ehem William Junior.

Receptionist: Yes sir please sign this for single bed and follow me to your room

(Meanwhile at the van)

Richard: *Hmm ana is asleep well of course she is when it comes at vans, cars ,busses or any kind of vehicles*

Richard: Okey haruka were getting close just hang on

(Few minutes later they arrived at the checkpoint)

Richard: GO GO

Richard: Hey sleepy head wake up were at the checkpoint

Anastasia: Huh? Are we already in checkpoint nearby to tacloban

Richard: no were still in a half far away to tacloban...

Anastasia: wake me up until we arrived im going back to sleep...

Richard: I'de be advice to you that you need to pee as well.

Richard: Hey make it quick we're about leave!

Anastasia: huh? Oh its you and yes it is me after you done washing your hands go to the van.

Haruka: Hey i wanna know why your angry to me, there could be a reason right?

Richard: Hey! Are you guys done?? The driver is waiting we have to go now and haruka get inside!

Richard: get inside in the van quick, Okey boss lets move!

Driver: Damn that took a while for the females anyways were moving now.

(Meanwhile at Je'nes hotel ground lobby)

William: welp time to explore let me call fred

(Fred answers the phone)

Fred: Yes?

William: its me fred i need you now in je'nes hotel

Fred: Oh! Okey boss im coming right after i drop off my pasenger i'll be there in a minute also are u inside

William: Yes im inside near to an entrance door

Fred: I'll park at the front so you could see me and i'll beep twice

William: theres no need to beep

Fred: No... If some random taxi goes there that doesn't even me you'll be encounter an homeless guy after your at door waiting to be open boss.

William: hmm i guess your right okey i'll meet you later...

Fred: okey ill open the door for you boss.

(Hangs up the phone and minutes passed by a taxi driver goes to the front)

William: gonna wait the beeps twice...

(Suddenly the taxi driver beeps twice)

William: Its him!

(William sprints straight to the taxi and gets inside)

William: Okey fred take me to a nearby bank

Fred: okey boss were going now...

William: hey fred i should repay you money after this and also after we head to the bank we're goi-

Fred: we got company boss.

William: what?

Fred: we got 2 old fashion cars following my tail boss.

William: I can see that but whats the problem? they're not ju-

Fred: we're in a public road boss, theres no police that are patrolling or been stationed in this area, this public road rumored that this is free gun fire zone, the mayor on this tacloban city wasn't able to stabled the public road duo to busy dealing the drugs at his city needed to be cool down in about more weeks until this place gets stabled, i do judge them whenever their hostiles or not, but don't worry because i got a hand gun in my pocket boss.

William: you should've head to a shortcut instead!

Fred: Boss this is the shortcut to a nearby bank! whenever you say "nearby" locations there will be always have shortcuts.

Fred: I was trained for being an professional driver i don't even know how to point a gun to person before, here take mine if you know how to shoot boss.

William: Bullsh*t this area needs to be controlled soon as possible, some random bandits wanted to kill innocent civilians

William: we got a problem a car is rushing to the front

William: You are one crazy Bad*ss driver i've ever met in my entire life

Fred: Thank you boss i appreciate it, also we're almost at the safe zone there could cops stationed there boss.

William: what good news is that the last vehicle has given up chasing us.

Fred: Boss... I need your help

William: What do you mean? Oh about the back window and the trunk just damaged? Don't worry ill repair it for you

Fred: Thats not what i meant oh wait yes but thats not it what i was thinking of, its about reasoning why we shortcut this area cause theres tons of cops stationed in the other side boss.

William: Crap don't worry im an veteran soldier, i know how to explain this cops also i had fun, this place is totally fun in the phillipines

Fred: Yeah sure whatever boss... Wait lets stop...

William: whats the matter? Oh... Did anyone mentioned you there is 2 directions in a shortcut?

Fred: this is... New boss, its been months i havn't been here and yes i don't know which way, there is no stopping sign on each direction... Could you joojle map boss?

William: we got company 3 vehicles coming in our direction.
