I dreamed of Luke. The day of our speech he wore a three pin suit. He stood boldly delivering the speech. I sat on the seat watching him.

.......... Wait why did he suddenly change? Why is that jerk from the club here? I sat up jolted. Damn! I must have been triggered to have such a dream. Our school gathering was coming soon it must have made me anxious. I got and freshened myself. It really was tiring chasing that brat. I went down for breakfast.

Mom and dad already sat there.

'Ahh tasty food. 'I liked sandwiches. 'Where is lacy? '

'Hmm. Dad let's go out next weekend. '

I pouted. He flicked my head.

I went to wake Lacy up. She was soundly sleeping. I let her be and went to Professor Charles office.

I parked my bike and went to the office.

'I am thinking of signing for a research project. I have signed you! '

'It is under K company. You can go with my students team. You prepare well. ' He said giving me a file. ' college? '

'I have been attending only exams thanks to you! ' I said laughing.

Hmm K company? it's known to be one of the wide spread company. It has many branches. The president is quite young. Well nowadays youngsters have been taking over! It was all over news of Mr. K coming back to the country to run the business here. Wait Mr. K? I think that reception lady mentioned it?

Damn! I drove over to meet Sarah in the hospital. She was having morning shift.

I went over to her place.

'Ha?' I said patting her from behind.

We both went to the hospital canteen to eat. I was not a doctor there but still I used to come there for several small surgeries. I was most time with professor in the lab.

I stared at her. I was busy but I hade taken two days off. Professor thought that I should go out with friends or date. Yeah I thought it was shameful I was in early twenties but still single! I have my first kiss still !

'Dude the gathering is coming soon......... Hoping? '

I knew what she meant.I had been nervous about meeting Luke. Afraid the feelings of before would surface itself up. But I knew they never drowned......... I still like him!

'Let's see..... he may be having a gf! '

Sarah insisted on going to buy dresses for the gathering.

We went to the mall to buy some clothes Sarah took a long time choosing a dress. She had decided to go on with a dark blue knee gown with shining studs.

I picked a black one with net full hands and collar neck. I thought it was too short like above my knee but Sarah insisted me to buy it. I too liked it. I brought laced heels in black. I decided to go with all black on.

We went to her home and tried on the clothes. Davis came to her home. He too had brought a three pin suit matching Sarah.

'You too proving that you going out? 'I said Laughing.

'Who goes with him? 'She pouted.

'Old fashioned! 'Davis smirked.

They were teased back in school too. It was fun though.

I went back home.

Days passed and the gathering day came soon.

We had to reach the venue by 8.I dressed up in the black dress and had open hair which flowed like curtain behind me.

My cousin and parents were going out. I would be all alone for a few days. Sarah came home and stared at me.

'Dude? It's u? woah even the school beauty will lose to you today! '

'Eeee shut up now! 'I said laughing.

I was about to go out when I got a call from my aunt. She said she was gonna go out for urgent work and wanted me to take care of her little baby who was only a year old.

I asked Sarah to go on and I would join her later.

My aunt came by 8:30 and I said her I would take my little cousin baby along with me. She had a long journey so it would be difficult. I changed the baby's diaper and safely made her sit-in the seat beside the driver's. I put on my seat belt and drove the car. I forgot to take milk for the baby. I pulled the car over. I called Sarah.

'Dude I need.... '

'Dude leave that do you know Luke... no no you come and see you will be! '

'Get a bottle of milk ok! '

'Han? oh okay.... come fast. '

I cut the phone.Hearing Luke my hear sinked. Should not I get over him by now?!

I reached the venue by 9 pm. I parked it in the parking area. The whole place was booked by us for today's event. I saw people rushing out and in. I recognized some from other classes. Our class was in room 104.I wore my coat because carrying a baby in this dress would be difficult.

I changed my heel too into a shoe with black design and small heel for comfort.

I unbuckled the baby and carried her. She was already asleep. I made her lean on my shoulder and had her towel in one hand.

haha... thanks but it's ok. my child? I thought. yeah she was my cousin sister she did resemble me lightly especially her hair.

She walked me to the room. She opened the door. I heard loud laughing and talking noises. I patted the wriggling baby and walked in.

The Hall suddenly became dead silent.

Sarah ran towards me. 'Jane? '

I sat near Davis.

I adjusted the baby on my lap. I could feel their stares on me.

Hii guys! how are you all? I suddenly noticed those guys from the pub.

we talked a lot and laughed. The gathering turned out to be good despite my fear. Aurora seemed mature, she didn't bother me like before.

I decided to go home after getting a phone call from my aunt. She asked me to take her daughter home. I drove the car and dropped her off and returned back home. I was tired after the long day. I came home by 2:45 am.

Luke stop drinking now! you never drank like this!

It was that time when I heard knocking in my door. I sat up chilled. who would come at this late hour. I quietly went down to check. All the lights were off and I didn't dare to on the lights.
