Episode 1: My Life

*at the school entrance*

[Someone: Hey! He's here! The ghost! The loner! Hahaha!]

*everyone's laughing*

[Rihei (heart): I've been experiencing this since I first time stepped my foot here. I've already used to it. It doesn't hurt me, at all.]

*in the classroom*

[Teacher: Okay, send your homework from yesterday.]

*students rushing*

[Rihei (heart): I don't know why, but, everytime I look at them, I felt that we're different. It's like I'm in a vastly different world. Far away from them.]

*Rihei sent his homework*

[Teacher: You're doing good, Rihei. You never leave any of the homework that I told you to do. Keep it up.]

*Rihei walks toward his table*

*he sat down on his chair*

[Rihei (heart): I never felt jealous or something like that towards them. For me, my life is already perfect. I have my parents who love me and teachers who understand me. I don't need friends.]

[Someone: Hey, look at that. He's not replying even a little. That's rude. You can't do that to a teacher, right?]

[Someone 2: Yeah, apologize to teacher, you ghost!]

[Teacher: Hey! You two! You're the one who's being rude here. Rihei's parents already said that he don't like to speak. We, teachers, respect that decision. As long as he learn here and don't do bad things.... we sure will. So, why you guys can't do it?]

[Someone: Tch! Okay, then.]

[Rihei (heart): This happened again. Those two are very weird. They don't have things to do other than bothering me.]

*recess bell rang*

*at the rooftop*

[Rihei (heart): I don't like to buy food at the canteen. It's crowded. So, I asked my mother to make me a packed lunch. Although, it's just some ordinary fried rice, but, it's enough for me. As long as I can eat, it won't be a problem.]

*open lunch*

*eats*

[Rihei (heart): I love to stay here alone. At the rooftop, I can take some fresh air. I don't know why, but, all the students don't like to be here. Maybe, because it's hot and sunny. Actually, it's a nice thing for me. I can eat and enjoy the air here alone and there'll be no one to disturb me.]

*drinks*

*exhale*

[Rihei (heart): Well, I'm finished. Like always, mom's cooking is the best.]

*bell rang*

[Rihei (heart): Nice timing. Time to go to the class.]

*in the classroom*

[Someone: Hey, you got lucky there's a teacher back then.]

[Rihei (heart): Here he go, again. Actually, I don't know what's his name. I never looked at his nametag or even heard his name being called by someone. And, not just him, I didn't even know what's all the teachers and the students name. I don't wanna know about it.]

[Someone: Hey, this time, for sure, I'll beat you completely. All this time, I've been holding my anger, you know? You're done after school. Just wait.]

[Rihei (heart): He actually said the same thing everytime he came to my seat after recess. And, he never do it. He's just saying it all without doing it. But, that's actually good, too. I don't know what to do if he really did it.]

[Someone: Okay, then. I'll see you after school, you ghost!]

*teacher comes*

[Rihei (heart): This is tiring. To face this everyday, it's just tiring.]

*studies*

[Rihei (heart): But, as long as they don't punch me or anything. There'll be no problem.]

After hours of studying.....

*bell rang*

[Rihei (heart): Okay, time to go home.]

*outside the school*

[Someone: Hey, you! Ghost! You're lucky that my dad's here to pick me up. Tomorrow, you'll be sorry! Just you wait!]

[Rihei (heart): Looks like I'm safe, again. Everyday, this'll happen. It's a routine for me to experience all of this. Well, that's it for today.]

*bus come*

*get on the bus*

*sit*

[Rihei (heart): All the money my mom gave to me is for taking a bus. To go to school and home, of course. That's why I never use it.]

*bus stopped*

*get off the bus*

[Rihei (heart): Now, I'll just need to take a walk from here to my house. It'll take at least 3 minutes.]

After 3 minutes.....

*knock*

*door opened*

[Mrs. Shin: Welcome home, Rihei. How's your school?]

[Rihei: Good.]

[Mrs. Shin: Nice to hear it. I've cooked some food for you to eat. But, first, take a bath, okay?]

[Rihei: Alright, mom. I'll go upstairs.]

*in his room*

[Rihei (heart): Maybe, for some people, my daily school life is boring as hell. It happened so quick. But, that's the reality. I live my life like this, every single day. And I don't like talking. Since I don't have friends, I only talked with my family. By the way, boring is not in my life's dictionary.]

[Rihei (heart): Okay, time to take a bath.]

*bath*

After a few minutes.....

*go downstairs*

[Mrs. Shin: I've brought some fried chickens. Eat at your own will.]

[Rihei: Thanks, mom.]

*Rihei's eating*

[Mrs. Shin: Tomorrow's your day off, right?]

[Rihei: Yeah, why asking mom?]

[Mrs. Shin: Remember what day's tomorrow?]

[Rihei: Saturday....?]

[Mrs. Shin: No, that's not what I mean. Think, Rihei. Think.]

*Rihei's thinking*

[Rihei: Oh! Tomorrow, dad'll be finally out the prison, right?]

[Mrs. Shin: That's right! We're gonna take him there, tomorrow. I'll take a day off, too. Maybe, at 8 a.m. in the morning we'll go. So, after this, sleep well, okay?]

[Rihei: Okay, mom! Got it!]

[Mrs. Shin: I'll go upstairs, first. After you've done eating, don't forget to wash the dish, okay?]

[Rihei: Okay, mom. Don't worry, I'll do it.]

*Rihei's mom going upstairs*

After a few minutes.....

*done eating*

[Rihei: Alright, time to wash the dish.]

*done washing*

*Rihei's going upstairs*

*in his room*

[Rihei (heart): Tomorrow'll be it. The day to pick up father's from the prison. It's been years, since I talked to him. I missed him. Well, time to go to sleep. I don't want to be late for tomorrow's.]

*lied on the bed*

*sleeps*

Informations about Shin family:

- Shin Rihei, the main protagonists of this novel and the one and only son of Shin Jiyui and Eita.

- Shin Eita, Rihei's mother is a half-time restaurant worker. And, she is a waiter there. She starts working when his husband's got imprisoned. Every Friday to Monday, starting from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. She'll be working at that exact time.

- Shin Jiyui is the head of the family. But, it has been 7 years since he got imprisoned. Later in the story, I'll tell more informations about him and his family. Stay tuned!
