"Hey! Old man! Get out of there it's your turn," a soldier from outside shouted rudely.
Before old Hernan left, he bowed to Helena and smiled purely. A smile that signifies kindness. "I look forward for your help Kroko, see you again."
Helena did not know how she felt. It was as if hundreds of needles had pierced her heart when she saw the departing old man. Until they just saw his silhouette and the guard closing the door.
'May you survive your battle, Mr. Hernan.'
Helena couldn't do anything but silently pray for the old man. She just sat next to Rey.
"Can he survive?" Her friend Rey asked but there was a trace of depression and sadness on his face. He didn't have to ask questions because he had an idea of what might happen. Helena's expression was sad and her blue eyes reflected the concern.
"What is your intuition, Rey?" Helena asked a bit worried.
Rey's intuition is accurate because it is one of his abilities.
"There is a danger looming, I have a strong feeling that there is a danger coming," he answered seriously and his mind was clouded with possibilities. Helena's emotions intensified and she could not stop thinking. She quickly ran towards the door.
"Open this door!" Helena shouted loudly and slammed the wall that served as the gateway or door.
The soldiers heard it and were about to open the door but it was suddenly destroyed. The scary creature appeared infront of the soldiers. Helena was equipped of bandages and releasing violent blue aura that made the soldiers step back.
"Helena!" Rey shouted, following her. But her eyes widened as she witnessed something horrible in the middle of the arena. Helena knelt down and tears dripped from her lifeless eyes. She saw a traumatic sight. The soldiers remained frozen because of Helena.
"NOOOOOOOO!"
Helena roared as she witnessed the beheading of old Hernan. Hernan's opponent smiled wickedly and happily waved the old man's bloody head. Helena was out of control. His family is waiting for him--- but now he was brutally killed by his opponent. Helena walked heavily into the middle of the Arena. The soldiers were frightened so they did not dare to approach. Even Rey cannot do something. They aren't capable of doing something because this is how Kroko act when she loses self-control. She's unstoppable.
"You stupid rubbish!" Helena exclaimed at the man who had killed the poor old man.
Everyone was focused in the middle of the Arena. They are eager to see Kroko---because finally their long-awaited fight is going to start sooner.
"The executioner!"
"Finally, our long-awaited battle."
"I can't wait. I know this is a battle of executioners."
"That's also what I heard. It's an executioners' fight"
The audience keeps on shouting and cheering but they are just a bunch of foolish people--- betting and watching the gladiators slaughter each other.
Heartless ones!
"K-kroko," the man who killed the old man said in shock. He let go Hernan's head and trembled backwards.
"I-i have not sinned against you," he's stuttering.
"Nahhh. Not me--- but the family of this old man." Helena said coldly and without hesitation the bandage in her hand formed and became sharp.
"This is your end," she announced with a blank expression on her face.
"P-please... Spare me----" he didn't finished what he was going to say as Helena cut off his head in an instant. The head fall down and created a sound while Helena knelt in front of Hernan's head.
The audience was in turmoil and got even more excited because of what they had witnessed. They were very entertained--- while Helena was crying in front of the old man.
"Promise, I will make sure I keep my promise." she said softly.
His friend Rey joined her and patted his shoulder. Like Helena, pity can also be seen in hi eyes.
"Since you are here already! I decided start your battle with Lagrim this instant. Hahaha," the old fat man was laughing like crazy as if enjoying the moment.
Rey and Helena were stunned by the words of the abominable leader above the arena. Next to him are the important person of the Kiingdom of Moyzen. Lord Putin was also present.
Rey's eyes widened and whispered to himself, "Lagrim is our opponent?"
"Hahaha. Just be grateful because I agreed that both of you will fought against that monster. Hahaha," Helena was deaf enough and remained emotionless. Her fists clenched.
"Take that monster out so this madness would be over!" Helena's cold words made the crowd's cheering stopped.
The leader looked at Helena and took the microphone to officially start the long-awaited fight.
"This is your long-awaited battle. We keep the persona of the executioner that Kroko would be against with for the game's twist---and now you will know who it is. Release him---the strongest of the four executioners---the monster Lagrim."
The cheers of the crowd grew louder. Others were depressed because they bet on Kroko instead of the anonymous opponent. They didn't think that Lagrim will be the opponent. They know Kroko would not win against the monster Lagrim.
Meanwhile, the one who bet on Kroko's mysterious opponent was very happy. The scary creature appeared on the other side.
He's emaciated aura is uplifting. He has many scars on his muscled body. He was twice as big as Helena. Rey backed away in fear. Lagrim had so many chains but he just broke it effortless.
"Lagrim! Lagrim! Lagrim!"
He was pleased with the attention and he boastfully waved his hands---while disgust was visible in Helena's blue eyes.
"Helena against Lagrim--- and this battle will officially begin."
