the wishing tree /1

it's raining dogs and cats.. power is gone because of heavy wind..

the whole city is in dark.. all the roads are filled with water..

he was staring at his laptop screen.. it's showing his e-mail.. it's his joining letter from the one of biggest companies in the US..

he got what he dreamt for.. but he isn't happy..

he stood up and walked to window.. he started looking outside..

the rain and water filled roads and the dark City..

took him back in memories...

it was when he was 17 years old he's in final year of highschool.. and his part time work too...

he started living by himself and supporting his family too... all his teachers and relatives said he have a promising future...

he was a grade A student with lots of dreams..

his life is plain but he's happy with it... but if everything is fine how will it be called life.

god played him..

that's the school trip to a old shrine near the river..

he went too..

they all went to roam and learn about shrine...

some girla were taking pictures and some were enjoying food..

couples went to pray for their love and life together..

he saw a girl about his age drawing the sceneries of the shrine he thought she's different..

she's wearing a school uniform of his school.. he thought she maybe from other departments or section..

he's popular with girls so many girls proposes him but he never accepted any.. here too girls asking for taking pictures together as memories so he went to take pictures and temporarily forgot about her..

when after few minutes he passed by the same place she wasn't there.. his eyes unintentionally searches for her but she's nowhere near to found..

that's when a guy run to him and said dude you have to see this they're all crazy.

he said calm down first and talk..

that boy just dragged him to a place.. there he saw a big tree..

it's branches were filled with coloured paper tube tags..

that boy who dragged him said..

they...the.. they're saying it's.. it's a wishing tree..

if.. ifff you write down your wish and tag it to this tree it'll come true..

that boy is out of breath because of running..

he didn't believe it but he want to see around he's walking around the place..

that tree is several years old and it's near the river.. people are talking about it he heard it from crowd.. they're saying this tree was here even before the shrine was built and the shrine was built because of the wishing tree..

he heard a story of the wishing tree

he was surprised and just watching everything and he reached to the river.. there he saw that girl drawing the wishing tree...

she is cute he thought.. she's standing and drawing the tree.. and tucking her hair behind her ear often because of wind.. but suddenly she just picked a pencil and made a messy bun of her hair with the helo of pencil.

girl: I'll see how you'll disturb me now she said it loud (to her own hair)

he laughed because of her actions and words.

she heard him laughing and felt embarassed..

boy: sorry

girl: hm

boy: can I see your drawing if you don't mind

girl: yeah sure.. *she smiled and step aside to give him space*

he went near and observed it and gave some pointers

boy: see if you just darken here a bit it'll look more good

girl: ohh ohh okiee I'll note that * she noted down all those*

they talked about drawings and studies etc

he said he's senior student who's about to take graduation exam..

she's in second year and just one year junior to him..

they've talked a lot and exchanged contacts too.

they saw the beautiful sunset 🌇 from river side and went back to their stay place... that night it rained suddenly and their return journey was postponed because of it..

that night he got message from her..

message:: hi hmm I forgot my bag at river side I'm going to get it but no one is coming with me so if you don't think otherwise can you accompany me..?

he replied

# ok meet me infront of our stay place#

they're staying inside shrine so it's easy to get that river side place..

they went out side wearing raincoat and umbrella.. the rain seems stopped but incase..

they informed teachers.

teacher: is that bag important?

girl: all the money I have is in that bag sir

he was shocked

teacher scolded her and few students and teacher also accompanied them...

when they reached river the river was flowing heavily and it seems like flood water..

teacher: be careful students..

after searching for a while she found the bag near the river..
