When Yi Cheng got into his office he didn't bother with saying anything to Lin Xiao and picking up his laptop walked out living Lin Xiao in his office, and meeting his secretary at the door ordered her to grab him food and not let him leave before he returned.

Yi Cheng sat absentmindedly in the meeting as he watched Lin Xiao on his laptop and for the 1st time, he felt that something was off with his clothes, they weren't designer clothes and were very simple and even though he knew that Lin Xiao always preferred simple clothes he couldn't help but feel that something was wrong. He had heard about the death of his dad and had been worried but he didn't think that Lin Xiao would even afford clothes, zooming in closer on his face, he couldn't help but frown at the tiredness his eyes carried, he didn't know why he hadn't seen it earlier maybe because he was so immersed in their meet he didn't notice it. Yi Cheng frowned at his irresponsibility but it didn't last long as he watched Lin Xiao eat, it was so fast and unkempt, he had food all over his face and he couldn't help but smile at this,this kid hasn't changed at all has he? he wondered as he watched him however he didn't notice the curious gazes of his employees.

For the 1st time ever, their boss had been absentminded through out the meeting and not only didn't his eyes leave his laptop screen, they looked so warm and caring like as if whatever he was watching on their was the most fragile thing, they had never seen their boss like this before and it surprised them however the greater surprise was when he smiled.

Originally no one paid attention to the meeting when they saw this action because they all wanted to know what would be so interesting that could make even their boss completely different. Everyone's gossip mode was already above 100 as they waited for their boss to give himself off but in vain, when his alarm rang , Yi Cheng dismissed the meeting and asked for a complete conclusion of the day's meeting before turning his eyes back on the screen. Everyone was waiting for their boss to stand up and leave but the later didn't seem to even have the slightest idea until someone coughed and looking up, Yi Cheng realised he was holding the others back "You may leave" he said his as he looked back on the screen where Lin Xiao was currently burping as he rubbed his tummy, this action showed how full he was and he found it really cute. He watched as the other dosed off before he jumped up and walked towards his desk with a sinister smile, Yi Cheng watched as Lin Xiao sat himself down on his seat before riding it through the office knocking a few things down as he smiled joyously. When he got bored with that, he looked at the files on the desk flipping through them with a serious expression be4 throwing them hard on the desk and looking up sneering said "Is this what am paying you for? What do you call this rubbish?" raising an eyebrow Yi Cheng couldn't help but think that this kid was actually acting as him, shaking his head, Lin Xiao moved his hand up and rubbed the space between his eyebrows with his eyes closed. " Get out" he said without looking up. Yi Cheng smiled and chuckled as he watched him. When will this kid grow up? he wondered as he looked at him.

He watched him do alot more things and despite his busy schedule he canceled all the day's plans and just sat their watching him, at lunch time he ordered for Lin Xiaobo fav food for the both of them then he watched him eat from his laptop as he ate his too. Yi Cheng wanted to go to his office and talk to Lin Xiao but he was afraid that if he did so the boy would leave after they were done so done so he watched him on his laptop through out and those 8 hours that he did so, he laughed more than he had laughed in the past 4 years.

The day finally came to an end and Yi Cheng couldn't continue staying in the conference room especially after Lin Xiao fell asleep, standing up he walked to his office where as soon as he turned the door knob, Lin Xiao woke up from his sleep as if sensing Yi Cheng's arrival.

"You're still here?" Yi Cheng asked trying to act surprised that he was still here. "Yeah, am hoping I put on a good show for Chief Yi" Lin Xiao sneered, this guy had the nerve to act surprised even after making him wait for the full day and watching him, did he think he was stupid? "A good show?" Yi Cheng asked acting indifferently as he placed his laptop down and sat down at his seat. " You still dare to...." Lin Xiao stopped as he thought about how late it was his sister was probably worried about him now.

" Never mind, is Chief Yi free now?" Lin Xiao asked changing the topic making Yi Cheng who was originally waiting for a fit from this kid displeased but he knew he had kept him around too long even though too him it felt really short and he wanted to know what had brought Lin Xiao looking for him today after 8 years. "I was wondering what you wanted my help with" Yi Cheng said suddenly becoming serious as he stared at Lin Xiao making him a bit uneasy.

"Hmmm, that's not a problem but I have my conditions too" Yi Cheng said as he looked at Lin Xiao who had jhs spent the past half an hour explaining himself a bit in able to bring up the debt amount. Lin Xiao had been very confident at the start but as time went by he had started regretting coming over here and pondered about how to bring it up without seeming weird afterall it had been 8 years since they last meet.

"Conditions?" Lin Xiao asked exasperatedly when he heard Yi Cheng's words. "What possible Conditions would Chief Yi have , I really have nothing to offer" Lin Xiao said. " Well, 1.5 Million yuan isn't a little amount is it?" Yi Cheng asked as he smugly looked at him, it was unknown what sinister things he was thinking about.

"No" Lin Xiao agreed as he shook his head along, " Am glad that we both agree on this," Yi Cheng said smiling and giving Lin a deja vu feeling.

" Well, I happen to have an extra room at my house, as long as our little Xi is willing to come stay with me, I can pay off your debt right now, besides its gonna be a free room" Yi Cheng said. Lin Xia looked doubtful as he pondered about this issue, he really needed the money but it was clear to him that Yi Cheng was offering a free roo. to only him and not his sister. As if reading his mind Yi Cheng added "I'll get your sister an appartment" " Why don't I stay with my sister instead?" he asked " Well, I can't let you stay far away from me, what if you disappear with my money?" Yi Cheng asked but Lin Xiao could hear the last unspoken part. like you did 8 years ago? "This, I'll have to discuss it with my sister" Lin Xiao said, originally the thought of him staying in the same house with Yi Cheng excited him but he was scared something inevitable would happen. What if he failed to hide his feelings when he stayed with him? Further even though Mr.Yi remembered him he wasn't sure if he still loved him as much as he did.

" Take you time but you only have an hour for that" Yi Cheng said acting indifferent yet he was actually scared that his sister would decline. "After pondering for a while" Lin Xiao took out his phone and dialed his sister however the phone was of, he calculated that by the time he went to find her, it would already be past an hour.

" Mr.Yi, I also have a condition" Lin Xiao said " I'll prefer you give me a week before I move in" he said. "A week!?" Yi Cheng asked impatiently, he felt like a week was too long a time equal to a year. "Yes, I'll need to find a proper time and speak this through with my sister." Yi Cheng wanted to refute. but he didn't dare show the kid how impatient he was about moving in with him. "Sure then I'll only give ue a 1/3 of the price and when you move in, I'll give you the rest." After the two coming to a conclusion, Yi Cheng dropped Lin Xiao off but seeing the worn out building, he couldn't help but frown as he wondered what kind of life the kid had lived for the past two years.
