Chapter 1: Betrayal

Outside was dark and windy. I could feel my skirt moving because of the wind. Even though the wind was cold, and I should put my hands on my pockets to keep them warm, but, I couldn't stop myself from smiling and holding onto the folder that was on my hand.

"Rayan is going to be so happy once he sees this," I whispered as I opened the folder.

Inside the folder, there were a bunch of medical papers where it says that I am pregnant.

"Finally!" I laughed. "I am going to be a mother!"

I couldn't stop myself from laughing. This was wonderful. I must show this to Rayan.

I looked at the house that was in front of me. It was Rayan and my house. We brought the house when we got married.

I walked towards the entrance door of the house. I wanted to give a surprise so I took out the key from my pocket and used it to unlock the door. When I opened the door, I was shocked. The whole house was decorated with heart shaped red balloons and rose petals was on the floor.

I smiled.

Did Rayan did all the decorations for me?

I looked around to find Rayan but he was not there. I walked up the stairs and began to walk towards our bedroom and stopped right before I entered our bedroom.

The door was closed and I could hear strange noises coming from inside the room.

What's going on?

"Ah! Slow down," I heard a breathless female voice coming from inside the room.

"Hm, you are beautiful here," I heard a male voice this time.

My heart began to beat fast as I tried to catch on what's going on. Both the male and female voices sounded familiar.

I held the knob of the door and opened the door. I gasped as I saw what was happening inside the room.

Rayan was lying on our bed with my cousin and was making out. My cousin was wearing a tank top and a panty. Rayan was shirtless. Their clothes were lying on the floor.

I couldn't believe what I was seeing. My own husband who I was married for 2 years was cheating on me with my own cousin who grew up with me.

How could this be possible?

The files dropped on the floor from my hand. "Rayan?" I whispered as tears ran down my eyes.

Rayan and my cousin pulled away as soon as they saw me. But none of them looked ashamed.

"Celia," I said, whipping my tears. "How could you do this?" I asked.

Celia smirked and then got off the bed. She walked towards me and smiled. "Megan, did you really think that Rayan likes you?"

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"Oh, come on! Rayan only married you for money. We were always together. Even before your wedding," she said.l and looked at Rayan. "Right, honey?"

No!

That couldn't be true!

I looked at Rayan and saw him getting off the bed. He walked towards Celia and wrapped his arms around her. "Of course, baby," Rayan said and placed a kiss on her cheek.

"No!" I cried as I threw myself on Rayan. "You can't do this, Rayan. You love me. You only love me!" I sobbed.

"SHUT THE ****, BITCH!" Rayan yelled and forcefully pushed me towards the dressing table.

I fell over the dressing table and my belly got hit on the corner of the dressing table. I began to feel pain in my stomach.

Gosh!

What's going on?

Tears ran down my eyes as I clenched onto my dress. I could feel blood running down my legs.

Oh Gosh!

Is that . . .

Is my baby . . .

I turned around and looked at Rayan and Celia. "Rayan, I have your baby . . ." I couldn't speak more as Rayan slapped on my cheeks.

"What baby?!" He yelled. "Last night you signed all your properties to me. I don't need you anymore."

"Rayan," I whimpered in pain as I fell on the ground. My belly was hurting and I was becoming weak.

I wanted to save this baby.

It is my baby.

"Rayan," I cried as I held on my belly. "Please save my baby. Please . . ."

"You wish!" Rayan smirked as he came close to me. Then he stepped on my belly and pressed his foot harder on my belly.

"Ahhhhhh!" I cried in pain.

It was unbearable.

I was getting weaker and my vision was getting blurry. I couldn't hear anything properly.

"Rayan! Stoppppp!" I cried more.

He was killing my baby.

Somebody . . . please, save my baby.

Somebody . . .

I looked over to Celia and saw her smiling. She went through the drawers of the dressing table and pulled out a lighter.

I looked at her in horror as she used the lighter and lit fire on the curtains.

"No . . ." I sobbed out as I saw the fire spreading all over the house.

I felt dizzy and couldn't keep my eyes open. The pain . . . the gas from the fire . . . everything was slowly killing me.

Tears ran down my eyes as I soon fell unconcious.
