The Mother Of Roses
Finches sings as the sun rises, sounds of jingles coming from children while they are playing and laughing, the smell of sunshine's warmth and a light air of a gentle breeze.
The best season on the whole year, not very cold, not very hot. It's spring, the time when the flowers bloom, adorning the view and when you finally could take a deep breath of fresh air.
A tiny feet steps filled the hallway, running curiously towards a one great door at the end of the hall.
Subsequently, the two elegant, well dressed, very young ladies opened that door as they arrived.
"I know it! I felt that she will be here. " , said one of the young ladies.
"Yes.. It's the twin feeling.. ", delicately said the other one, as they saw the naughty girl who was standing by her fingers with some support of the edge of her feet at a small chair, trying to reach the locker of a vintage fold down desk.
" What a 'twin feeling' you are talking about, you two?! ", she said as she heard them and then saw them behind her shoulder.
"Calantha is right, to be presice we are not twins, we- " , Suddenly she have been interrupted by the other girl.
"What are you looking for in mother's stuffs? ", she asked softly with innocent look shading her little face.
" Lavender, I never saw you curious, the blah-blah person usually is Daffodil ", said Calantha while she was still reaching for her 'unknown' thing.
" It's no need to be rude! I am still standing right here. " , said the girl who's called Daffodil furiously, but ended up calming down, reminding herself her soothing words.
"I know you are still standing right here. ", said Calantha to herself as she rolled her eyes.
"..You did not answer Lavender's question yet. ", added Daffodil.
" Haven't you ever been curious about what mother wrote in her 'invaluable' book?", asked Calantha.
They shook there heads with agreement.
"I thought I saw her put--", Calantha suddenly stopped talking which both of Lavender and Daffodil looked at one other, raising an eyebrow and their shoulders, in confusion.
"I found it! ", applauded Calantha.
" But mama will be sad if she knows about that.. ", said Lavender anxiously.
" The right word is 'mad'. ahem- I do want to know about what's in it, but as Lavender said we can not do that. ", said Daffodil soberly.
" You two are chickens!--
"Do not call us chickens!! ", said the both and crossed their eyebrows angrily.
"Yes alright.. well, I am sure that mother won't know about this if we were careful. Come on! ", she said, waiting for their conviction.
As one final look they shared, they agreed.
"Won't tell if you don't", they said with light voice.
...
After they reorganized their mother's stuffs, they secretly took the book.
Therefore, they opened the book and quickly skimmed the papers of it.
"..It's more like a diary or- ..a story"
