chapter one

I have always hated the idea of ‘doing wrong’, but when I found out my family's secret that all changed instantly.  When I was born my parents went their separate ways, I stayed with my father, he’s a trainer, he trains professional fighters and my mom is a movie producer, well at least that's what I’m told, I never really knew my mother, I've only ever heard stories from my father.  When I was 10 years old I finally asked my father more about her and he told me that she really wants to meet me, he also told me that I have a twin brother that I never knew about, his name is Alix Askeitu.  Today’s the day we are meeting each other, today is our 16th birthday.

“Blu, wake up.” my father says as he opens my curtains.  “You don't want to sleep all day on your birthday do you?” he asked, “I’m up! I’m up!” I groan as I roll out of bed, “I’ll be out when I finish getting ready.”.  As I finish getting ready for the day I hear a knock at the front door, “Blu, can you please answer the door?  I'm a little preoccupied at the moment.” my dad calls from the kitchen, “yes father!” I call as I walk to the front door.  “Hello.  May I ask who you are?” I say to the unknown people at the door,  “Is there a William Askeitu here?” the woman asked as the boy next to her was looking down.  I nod as I move from the door to let them in, “Dad!  There’s a woman here asking for you!” I call out “he's in the kitchen right now.  It’s right over there.” I point out to the unknown woman and the boy. 

     The woman walked to the kitchen to see my father and the boy is left with me, “Hi, my name is blu!” I say as I turn towards the boy “I am Alix!” he tells me with a smile.  Around five minutes later the woman and my father walked into the room smiling “Blu, Alix, we have to tell you both something! First of all, Happy Birthday, to the both of you.” they both say with a wide smile.  “Thank you! What did you want to tell us?” Alix asks, “Well kids, we wanted to tell you, you both are siblings!” my father announces as he lets out a small laugh.  “We’re what!? This is my twin brother?” I ask looking over towards Alix with a grin “Blu and I are twins? That’s so cool!” He exclaims with a large smile, “That’s not all though!  You guys will be going to a public school tomorrow! So you both should get your rest tonight, but for now, get in the car we’re all going out as a family.” The woman announces as she grabs her purse.  On our way to the place our parents are taking us, my brother and I get to know each other more, “So, Alix, what school did you go to?” I ask him.  “I was homeschooled my whole life.  Mom told me that it was to protect me, I’m not sure what from though.” he exclaimed with a shrug. "I was homeschooled aswell, but dad told me that it was because he would miss me to much while at school." I said with a slight giggle as the car came to a stop. "we're here kids!" our parents called out in sync with each other "let's go,". We all left the car and walked inside the building, "dad, what are we doing in your gym?" I ask as we walk inside. "Blu time for training. You too Alix." our parents both told us. We trained for hours until the sun went down and then we all went home "Kids, get some rest, you are starting a new school tomorrow!" our mom announced as we walked to our rooms. "Goodnight!" we yelled out and as I was walking into my room Alix smiled at me then walked into the Room my father set up for him.
