Ep. 4

It was a cloudy Saturday morning.  Feli was helping her family cleaning the house up.  She started with her room. She moved the drawer so she could clean the floor behind it.  It was extremely dusty there.  Where did all these dust came from?

“Feli, please check the stuffs in the drawer or bookshelf.  If there is something that you don’t use, put them on the pile on the terrace.  We are throwing away unwanted items.”

“Okay mom,” Feli said.

Feli pulled the drawer and examined it.  She found pens with no inks, old stickers and a cherry keychain.  She was looking at the cherry keychain.  She had gotten this keychain from a boy in senior high school. What was his name?

Feli heard the sound of her smartphone vibrating.  She grabbed her phone and saw a message from Prima.

‘Hi Feli.  Banyu and I r going on a date.  I feel nervous if its just the 2 of us.  I was wondering if u can come along.  Pls come.  Please’

‘Won’t it be awkward to follow people that are dating? Isn’t a date supposed to be enjoyed with your partner only?’  That’s what Feli thought.  But she’s her best friend.  Feli guessed that it would be okay.

‘Only if you buy me ice cream’

Feli sent the message.

‘u will get fat’ Prima messaged her.

‘Nah I eat lotsa sweets everyday & I look fine. an ice creams nothing for me’

Feli sent the message.

‘ok i will buy u ice cream.  meet us at Rajawali commuter line station at 1pm.’ Prima replied her message.

The station was crowded.  It must be the people who wanted to enjoy their day off.  Banyu and Prima was sitting on a bench when Feli came.

“Hey so ... where will we go?” Feli asked them.

“To your heart,” Banyu said without a thought.

Was this guy seriously still doing that after he had gotten a girlfriend?  Feli responded him with a laugh.  Prima didn’t seem to mind, she just laughed at his words.

‘It’s just a joke, no need to think about it,’ Feli thought.

“We’re going to the amusement park.  It’s a great place for a date isn’t it?” Prima said.

“I would prefer a restaurant though,” Feli said.

“Are you flexing about your metabolism?” Prima asked.  She sounded exasperated.

“Hey look, the train’s coming,” Banyu said to them.

There was a lot of people getting into the commuter line train.  Feli, Banyu and Prima managed to enter the train.  But Prima was seperated from them in the sea of people.

Feli couldn’t move.  Banyu happened to be in front of her.  What was that situation?  He was too close to her.  It was embarassing.  Wait, she shouldn’t be embarassed if she had no interest in him, right?  She couldn’t like him.  He was her best friend’s boyfriend.  Feli knew what to do.  She would try to have a conversation with him to emphasize that she was his friend only and nothing else.  A normal conversation.

“Uh ... umm ... I’m sorry I haven’t returned that Rp 400.000 you lent me two weeks ago ... I will give it to you today,” Feli muttered.

“You can keep the money.  I don’t want it. What I want is you,” Banyu said with a smile.
