Wahhh.. This is the first day of the class... I barely know anyone here.. We moved out from our place in Manila and came back here in the province just two months ago to escape the crowded and polluted area of the city. We rented the house of my Aunt for the meantime. It is an hour and a half distance to the school I enrolled.

I am chanting and memorizing my introduction when I was on the queue to enter the University gate, passing though a scanner, guard checking on the side and looked so stiff and serious.

Tuttututtuuttt! That alarm was scandalous. The man infront of me has his back pack checked. He was wearing a black T-shirt with a F*ck sign, black leather jacket tied on his waist and a tattered black jeans. They seemed to see some voilated items from his bag.

"Hey! What do you think you're doing?!" a deep voice came out from this man infront of me. He grabbed the guard's collar and lifted him in the air!

This man is not a good news! He seems dangerous!

He is more than 6 feet tall and has a muscular body. His hair is long and jet black touching his wide shoulder. His skin is white almost like that of a cold blooded vampire. I don't want to see his face.. Maybe he is really... Really a bad guy...

I saw the other guard has called a back up and trying to retrieve his buddy from this man.

Is he a student here in Golden Leaf University? If so, the more he needs to be taught a lesson! This is a place for education and not for violence!

I gathered up my courage and interrupted.

"E-excuse me! C-can you please stop your violence!" shoot...my voice cracked... I'm shaking inside.. But... I need to stop him...

"Haahhh?!!" he glared at me and irritably release the guard down. "What the hell are you talking about?!"

Taken aback, I was facing him now. His eyes are still fixed on me as if he's trying to intimidate me. If not for his bad temper, I think his face is truly handsome.

"Y-you should know that you are causing trouble for us. W-we are late for our classes!" oh my God, I can't fix my voice...

"And what do I care about that?!" he sneered at me.

Then a man from behind this violent man interrupted him and held his shoulder to cover me behind his back from this nearly-death-scene infront of the campus.

"Bricks, stop it man! You're scaring them! Guard, have you checked already his bag? I know there is nothing dangerous inside. This must be a misunderstanding."

The guard who was collared by this man called "Bricks" move quickly and said that it was a misunderstanding. Nothing dangerous or forbidden was inside the bag. And he apologized quickly returning the bag to him.

Oh my God... My knees are shaking..

My heart was pounding even after that man left. I can't keep my calm. It was dangerous... I was not that brave enough to face him again... I might be eaten alive...

"Miss, Im so sorry for my friend. He's not bad. Just had a bad mood today." this man is kind. He has a kind smile. He must be a nice person.

I am still in shock and didn't manage to respond. The 'nice person' left and followed his friend. Staring blankly ahead and the next thing I know, the person behind me is poking me catching my attention.

"Miss, please move. We are late for our classes."

That's when it hit me, this is the first day of the class and I am late because of that man!

Hurriedly, I left the gate of death...
