“Here is your change. Be sure to come with an extra polythene bag with you.”

“Okay”. Rakesh replied.

Rakesh, a boy in the third year of high school. A boy with a calm environment, enabling himself to open to the friends surrounding him. Wear specs of thick lenses since he was in the elementary school.

“Good morning, Rakesh!” coming from the left corner of Rakesh. A pretty looking girl, same grade as Rakesh but unfortunately different class.

“Good Morning, Riya”. So, her name is Riya.

“What’s up? Looking good today? Anything special?” she asked.

“Nothing of that kind, but yes. Today my Ma is going to make my favorite chicken item. And I’m just getting excited today” he said with extreme joy.

“Oh. wanna have me over?” she asked her since her family were related to them.

“sure you can come. You could bring your parents too”.

“Thank you for inviting me today”.

“Mention not”.

That night they were having little nice chat with Riya. When it was about ten at night, they started preparing for dinner. Rakesh unconsciously opened the TV since it was his childhood habit. Rakesh father was a government serviceman. He usually comes at 8 pm. But that day they had an inspection for which he came back fast. The chicken was looking beautiful, red sauce over it, making it look more delicious. Fried rice matched chicken curry beautifully, so was the menu. They had salad in the starter followed by rice. “Rakesh beta, thoda news channel pe dena?” (“Son please set the channel to a news channel?”). The headline that Rakesh could see was “A life threatening virus has exploded in the city. They are spreading among humans from chicken. On enquiry it has been found the people who bought chicken from ‘Sugina Chicken’ were the first to be affected”. Rakesh startled as he has bought the chicken from the same store.

There were people screaming all around. Rakesh hurried up and went outside to see what was going on. People was acting strangely. Their eyes were protruding out, biting their own lips. They were scratching their own hand if some allergic reaction was going on their dermal layer. Ultimately, they took out blood by scratching their hands. One of my neighbor who was a vegetarian, came out to see but got communicated with the blood of the infected person. What may happen? The lady got infected too.

Riya was worried about her parents and called her frequently. Everyone was waiting to hear what kind of news they were going to get. They were all concentrating on Riya’s face that was changing continuously. Ultimately, when Riya ended up the phone call   she told they were unaffected. Rakesh seems very nervous since he is quite a sound boy. But the incident got on nerve.

They were deciding whether they should leave the city and move to Government shelter. They had packed their luggage considering that they had to leave the house.

“someone is knocking ate the door. Riya thought if it was her parents. Rakesh ran to open the door”.

“someone help!” Rakesh screamed. “What happened?” his father asked. But upon looking at the door they became spellbound. The infected humans were trying to get inside the house. Rakesh didn’t know what to do in that situation. His father took his hand and ran away. They took out the luggage and left the house running as fast as they could.

“It’s good to see the success of my experiment” a man with a hidden identity laughed loudly as he could. “People who have disagreed with me in creating new world with know how is it look when you see down to others”
