"Where's my secretary?" Calvin asked his guard

"Sir, Mr. Zaclery is not here at the moment..."

"Not here at the moment? Isn't he my Secretary? what's so important that he should miss this meeting?" Calvin said, frowning and starting yo get angry

"No...sir, he called me earlier saying that his mother is in hospital and he needs to be there..."

the guard explained

"(sigh) Should've said earlier...!" Calvin said

"I'm sorry sir"

"It's okay now, did he hand you my schedule?"

"Oh, yes sir! after the board meeting earlier, you now have to attend a meeting with the CEO of VCB Company."

"Who's the Ceo again? and what is VCB Company? "

"Ah, sir, the CEO is an American named Christian Nelson, he just started his own company five years ago and it bloomed pretty well. Also, before you succeeded the company, VCB Company have been cooperating with the Cairman since 2 years ago" the guard informed

"Also sir, this meeting is scheduled by your father..."

"Maybe this company is not so simple then..." Calvin thought and smirked

"Oh, okay then, where's the meeting?"

"It's in the Alexis Grand Restaurant, sir"

"Restaurant?" Calvin aked in confusion

"Yes sir, I don't know the reason but he called earlier that he can't go to our company and he'll have a meeting with you in the Alexis Grand Restaurant..."

"Is he belittling me?" Calvin thought

"Okay then, you come with me and act as my secretary for today"

"Yes sir."

Calvin's eyes became more serius.

"Let's go!"

"Yes sir."

|Alexis Grand Restaurant|

Mr. Jin - the bodyguard - opened the door for Calvin

"Sir, we're here."

"Where is he?"

"Sir he said to meet at the second floor and go to the room he reserved"

"tsk, this unknown guy knows how to be extravagant..." Calvin thought

"Okay, let's go"

"Okay sir, this way is the entrance"

Calvin and his acting-secretary got inside the retaurant and directly got into the reserved room.

"Why isn't he here yet?"

"Sir, maybe he's stuck in a traffic or-"

Mr. Lare was cut off with the sound of the door opening.

"Hello! Mr. Rosswel and Mr. Jin"

A lady came in

"Why is she here?" Calvin thought

"Oh, might you be Sarah Lare? Mr. Nelson's Secretary?" Jin asked

"Oh, yes." Sarah replied

"Sarah is working at his Company?" Calvin thought

"Here is our HUL Company's CEO, Mr. Calvin Rosswel."

"Nice to meet you Mr. Rosswel"

Sarah greeted Calvin pretending not to know him and she smiled pretentiously.

While Calvin smiled in confusion on what does Sarah meant by that smile.

"Where is your Boss?" Calvin asked Sarah

"Oh, Mr. Nelson would be here at the moment" Sarah replied

(creak)

The door in the private room suddenly opened

"Oh, my boss is here" Sarah informed while pointing at a tall - well slightly short than Calvin - handsome man standing at the door.

Wearing his head high, a 27 year old man came in wearing black tuxedo and his handsome face.

"Let me introduce to you, this is our VCB Company's CEO Christian Nelson" Sarah said in a boastful manner

"Hello Mr. Rosswel!" Christian extended his hand to shake Calvin's hand while smiling so brightly.

"Didn't even say sorry for making me wait!" Calvin thought

"Nice to meet you Mr. Nelson. I am the CEO of HUL Company Calvin Rosswel and this is my secretary Reynold Jin" Calvin introduced

"I am Christian Nelson the CEO of VCB Company and this is my secretary Sarah Lare" Christian introduced while smiling

"I thought your father would be the one I'm meeting with today."

|Going to Alexis Grand Restaurant|

(calling)

"Hello, father, whats with the meeting with the CEO of VCB Company?"

Calvin called his father to ask what is the meeting about.

"You just need to persuade him to let us buy his company" his father told him

"Why would we buy such a low class company?"

"His company is not just something simple, VCB Company is one of the new leading companies."

"Just because of that reason?"

"No, though their company is indeed small, how can they go international in just five years and that Christian Nelson is so mysterious, I'm sure there is something more than our eyes can see."

"Again. Why would we buy this company? Isn't it better if we just stay out of their business? plus, you said yourself that their CEO is not something simple."

"This is the fastest way our company can go international"

"Just follow my orders...! I have my plan about things"

The call was cut off

"Hello? father?"

"Whats with him?"

"Well, my father is busy today so he asked me to attend the meeting myself" Calvin explained

"Wait, why do I have to explain myself to him?" Calvin thought

" Well, I'm busy too but I got out of my way just to attend this meeting" Christian smiked

"But, it's okay, at least I got to meet the CEO and the man of the dream of all the girls in this town..." Christian smiled brightly and sat on the opposote side by himself while Sarah continued to stand

"What are you doing there Hon(Honey)-M-Ms. Lare? come here, have a sit beside me" while pointing at the chair beside him

"This Nelson, didn't he know that Sarah's married?" Calvin confusely thought

"Oh, thank you Mr. Nelson" Sarah smiled and sat beside him

"What? Doesn't she love James anymore?" Calvin thought in confusion

"So, what is the meeting about?"

"I'm gonna be straightforward, I want to buy your VCB Company." Calvin frankly said

"No!" Sarah interfered

"I remember Vallery telling me before that Sarah is pregnant and James is gonna be a father to a baby girl... wait... isn't the girl I saw before the child then? why is the little girl calling her Aunt?... well, I'll think about this later, better focus in the meeting" Calvin thought

"Why is the secretary interfering too much?" Calvin asked

"I-I'm sorry Chr(Christian)-M-Mr. Nelson"

"It's okay" Christian smiled brightly... again

"I think my guess is right, she even thought her daughter to lie to others telling them she's only her Aunt in order to stay with this Christian Nelson, don't she and James love each other so much?... Ahh... stop thinking about this~" Calvin thought

"Lets continue the meeting... " Christian said

"We want to buy your VCB Company"

Christian rested his chin on his hands and turned his bright face into a serious and intimidating one and asked

"Why do you want buy our company?" Christian asked

"Our?" Calvin asked in curiosity

"Yes, I'm not the only one who manages this company, though I am the CEO I still need that person's validation for this thing"

"Father is right, there is someone behind this company"

"I'll be frank, I won't sell this company"

"..."

"To anyone, that is. But we're talking about HUL Company here" Christian laughed in a boastful manner

They laughed and drinked together.

"So Mr. Nelson, might you consider us buying your company?" drunk Calvin asked
