the beginning of the new dawn

It was a yellow day in Louisiana and I was heading back home from school like any other day.on the way back I stopped by at the supermarket and was buying a pack of chips to eat .It was my daily routine.As I walked towards the billing counter I saw streak of black lightning in the bright yellow sky . i thought my eyes were playing tricks on me .I got out of the store to get a clearer view and I saw.....olive green storm clouds going west towards the Sun . I was watching the odd phenomena and heard a loud crackle of thunder it was like the sound of a bomb blast but, way louder. I covered my ears immediately with my palms my head felt like it was splitting . As I was on the ground groaning in pain a car comes and stops in front of me . it was a matte finish black colour Tesla. and out came out four bulky guys wearing the American army uniforms and a pair of cooling glasses. they picked me up and made me get in the car and told me to stay there.

after a few minutes it started to rain the sky had gotten dark all I could see were green clouds and light seeping through the gaps in the cloud.the four officers walked into the supermarket and the appartments nearby informing people to stay indoors . the government made announcements frequently through the speaker's present in the stadiums and on television.the whole country had gone into a state of lock down. the president along with his family had been transported to a safe bunker . and there I was sitting inside the vehicle of the American army in the rain. after a few hours the officers were returning when suddenly one of the officers went beserk and took out his pistol and started firing all around.it was as if he had gone mad . the other officers jumped in fright and tried to subdue him and when they did the other two officers had gone mad and began firing at the officer who was subduing the other .he died right before my eyes.i had a feeling I would be next and tried to hide in the car and locked myself in.

a few moments later the street was covered with people like the officers all looking disfigured and acting mentally ill. I was too afraid to even move ,I had already pissed my pants twice. at that moment the president made an address I watched it on my phone.he said "dear citizens of America I am sorry to say to you that there is a virus that is being transmitted through the green rain clouds that you are seeing in the sky ,you must not get wet in the rain.i am extremely sorry to tell you all that you are on your own I cannot do much now".i was stunned ,it never occurred to me that we would be abandoned by the government.
