Prologue and Chapter 1

*Ken thank you*

A stone crumbling like it has been getting hit again and again falls off. But it was located in adult-human eyes that it has been petrified for a long time.

Then his eye's open like it's been woken up after a goodnight sleep.

'It's been so many years,how long that I've been sleeping? Hundreds? Thousands? Millions?'

'Ah I can't remember I lost track of time'

'Ugh, what is this?'

'Being able to live for so long and rest, of course my clothes will wither. Still this place is the same as I left. Well I think it's time to see how's everybody doing while I'm gone to rest, it's not like I personally need to go out myself but just in case I need to check if my place is still intact and going well'

'Hmm,now that I think about it, this throne is still looks marvelous'

'In my home it is big as mansion but all of these things that is placed in my house is what keeps me at ease, so everything here is just simple but elegant. If I ask myself where do I find these place I think it's in the same place like monument or underground tomb something but in order to see these things when they're on my place they have to get required items and it is not that easy to get it. Well I'm done checking this place so I think I gotta know how this world living now'.

Chapter 1: Adventurers

*Somewhere in a abandoned city.*

Baam!, in the center of the city like a beam of light that can cut through anything, It just appeared instantly then from that place where the beam landed, there stood a human.

'Wow so this is the place that where my home stood'

'I think I need to gather information and while I'm here I gotta explore this place too but the way of how I see this place I think this has been long abandoned. Not much to see this place so I better move on'

While traveling down the pathway through the grassland he suddenly felt something ominous killing intent beneath the ground like it was watching his movements.

'Hmm, it is quite uneasy being watched by someone I better kill it and I think this is a good opportunity to test my strength'

From these world he didn't understand how powerful he is due to his long slumber. Then he use the skill 「Ruler's Might」like a force the creature didnt notice that it will be caught then it is risen, the creature struggle but it is futile. He closed he's hand like the creature was in his palm then bloodsprays from the creature and he released it from his skill,the creatute falls to the ground without movements.

'Hmm it was a bit too overkill even if I sealed a large amount of my power. I better hold back from now on in order not to get suspicious'

While venturing through the grasslands he heard a clash of swords, he head into its direction and from there he see a humans armour suited only for amateurs with a shield that covers only half of its body then a monster that was big as a horse-drawn cart it's appearance like a wolf, it was gnashing it's claws through the shield but it was interrupted by a wind type skill and arrows tipped with poison-like liquid. They are ten humans teaming up to kill only one monster, the three of its swordsman are wounded so they are being healed by two magicians. The other magician cast it's skill to his ally and then there was a light glow in the shielded human who was taking its damage from the monster then the other person rushed into the monster underneath its body slashing its legs and from there the monster slowly lower its body and the shielded human slashing the monsters head delivering the final blow.

'Hmm they are not bad considering even they have wounded one's, I better go ask them for directions'.

*Kieser's*

'This is bad if we got more wounded ones we won't be able to defend ourselves to return into the Veneden capital even if we stay here to camp we can't defend against for suprise attack of monsters or theives'

"Sareld-kun retreat our wounded ones to our rear so we can defend them, then tell the others to heal them.I'll hold this monster for a bit".

"Okay kieser-san be careful".

"Guys while we're on it let's stall it for a moment,so liddow-san your the only assassin here if you find an opening when sareld comes back to support us don't hesitate and mina-san release a middle-tier skill so we can stall it longer and filka-san you know what to do".

They nodded and from there filka release some arrow tipped poison and mina cast a skill 「Wind slash」they manage to slow the monster down a bit but kieser is running out of stamina and sareld got back after retreating the others to their rear. From there sareld cast a high-tiered skill 「Cleanse」and cast another Middle-tier skill「Binding Light」. Kieser feel his body getting light and then bashing the monster with the sheild, rendering the monster to reveal his weakness then liddow comes rushing cutting it's legs tendon unable to get up and kieser delivering the final blow.

"Phew that was exhausting,let's rest here for the night guys it's getting dark".

"Okay boss" -- "We got it leader" --- "thanks for your hardwork"

"And everyone good job".

The other subordinates get going to gather the things for resting up the night.

Filka manage to see a faint shadow that was far ahead walking towards them. She walk towards to her leader.

"Leader we got individual".

"What? We're in the middle of resting and

somebody going to cause a trouble now?".

"Well I think he's not an enemy but the way he's walking to us suddenly seems like he's lost in this place".

"Okay don't engage combat, just ask some questions".

"Okay leader"

'Ah I hope this guy gives us a break were tired'.

*Ken's*

'Hmm, it seems like they are moving quickly i better not provoke this guys I just want to establish a friendly approach'

"Um guys I am friendly I don't want trouble I just want to ask some directions".

"Okay so you're not from here, where do you come from?".

"Im from the other country, while i was traveling i got separated from my horsecart because of the monster then it chase me luckily I lose it but the problem is I got lost then I heard a fighting in the distance and here I am".

"Oh okay, you seems to have a bad luck wait for the message of my leader".

"Thank you kind miss".

"You can stay here and join us to rest and my leader wants to talk with you".

"I will and thank you for your kindness".

He walks towards to kieser that is sitting and seems tired after the rough fight.

"So I heard you're traveling, where were you headed?".

"I don't know sir because my maps are in those cart and other things, the only thing I got is my small bag fitted only for food and water".

"Oh my you really have a bad luck, we will help you reach to the capital of veneden and you can call me kieser and I'm the leader of this team".

"Nice to meet you kieser-san my name is ken and I better not bother you right now and let's talk again if you are well".

"Thank you for your concern ken and nice to meet you too".

Waking up in the morning they gathered their things to go to veneden city. During their departure they introduced each other talking about their adventuring days and families. They reach the capital of veneden without harm. Reaching to the point ken bids farewell to them.

"Thank you keiser-san for letting me join on your travels and it was fun talking to you and your team a lot".

"Don't mind it ken, what will you do from here on?".

'Oh good thing this was the capital'

"I wanna learn magic and other things maybe get a adventurer to teach me some sword skills?".

"Oh I think you better go in the academy you'll learn a lot in there and besides that's the reason why your travelling right? At that young age of yours you can help people and maybe become an adventurer to join us".

"Well at least you're right and maybe someday I'll join in your team. I've got a lot to learn and you help me so I'll repay you someday".

"Hahaha if you do, just find us in the adventurer's guild and here take these coins. Goodbye ken".

"Thank you for these and goodbye kieser-san".
