Chapter 3- Lohr

After knowing her background , she thought that the Princess/old Clarisse is quite pitiful . So it's that Jenson's fault , being disdained by the Crown Prince is like announcing his dislike towards her making the other servants to treat her like that too .

" The Last Will of my father was kept by his Majesty . I need to get the will to manage the duchy . And leaning on with just my Princess Title is just like courting death . The war of succession will happen soon and I will definitely be caught up if I am not prepared " if she were to be married off with a jerk husband when she turned 18 . It will be her doom .

Clarisse was about to go back to her room when a young man appeared in her view . The blonde man stared fixedly at her .

Clarisse acted timid " g-greetings , your highness " Clarrise curtsied

Lohr stared at Clarisse with darkened face " Sister , if you are wondering about the culprit last night . Don't worry , I'll make sure to capture that bastard who assaulted you "

Clarisse stared at the man who looked at her with concern . She clearly saw him looking at her with darkened face earlier yet now he's showing concern , this man ... Is a manipulator  .

" R-really ? I-i'm really nervous since last night , I'm worried that he'll go back to me again " Clarisse shivered but inwardly wondering about Lohr's words .

Lohr looked at the shivering princess with a satisfaction . A man in black entered Princess' room last night , and the guards immediately chase the man .

But actually , he was the one who paid the man to trespass her room and assault her . He planned on making Clarisse to depend on him .

Change her personality , make connections for him to collect more support for the war of succession . Clarisse's beauty is top notch , getting her to marry a powerful man would lead him to success the throne easier . He could easily sit on the throne easier with her.

He hated the Emperor , he hated Jenson .

The Emperor started showing signs of illness these days. It's because of him poisoning the Emperor . The earlier he succeeds , the earlier he would dominate the whole empire .

" Don't worry Sister , I will kill that man for you " Lohr revealed his bloodlust and sadist face.

Clarisse shivered at his expression " y-yes , Your Highness"

Lohr held the Princess' captivating fave and smiled . " Take care , Sister "

" Two dangerous guys , if I remain acting timid ... I will be swallowed by them "

So Lohr is already blackened . He is already a villain , fcc Clarisse is so frustrated. 

" That young one , Is a beast! He is just 14 years old and his hands were already stained with blood "

Several ladies are currently talking with each other , neglecting their duties as servants . They laughed , gossiping around etc.

A braided servant rushed between them . " You girls , it's time for us to clean her highness' room.  What are you lazying around?" Isha frowned

The maids turned their heads upon the braided maid simultaneously . They looked at her with disdain " why should we clean that dumb princess' room? You go and clean it yourself , we don't need to bother ourselves with that dumb adopted "

Isha frowned " watch your mouth Iyel "

" You bitxh back off! "

Isha growled , frustrated at the maid's attitude . Princess Clarisse is still a princess . That attitude of them is cancerous in this castle . I need to report this to her highness .

Clarisse is currently sipping on a cup of tea in the balcony , gazing at the distant mountains green environment .

Isha suddenly rushed in and kneeled down in front of the Princess .

" What's bothering you , Isha " Clarisse calmly said . She put down the cup of tea on the circular table and crossed her legs and arms , emitting a demeanor that of a dominant woman .

Isha suddenly felt pressured at the Princess' gaze . Ever since the Princess lost her memories , her highness' atmosphere changed unto a dominant one . She usually just felt this from the Emperor , now the Princess emitted it just by crossing her legs . She suddenly wants to worship her .

" Your Highness , I came here to report the doings of my fellow maids . At this time , they should have start cleaning your room yet they neglected their duties . I demanded them to head here but they shooed me off and even spoke blasphemous words towards you your highness!"

Isha suddenly felt the atmosphere tensified . Oh goodness , just what have I done .

" Hmmm... "

Isha sweated a buckets of sweat . " You have done well this time , Isha "

"Y-yes Your Highness "

Clarisse started assessing her situation again . Her life here in the castle were filled with difficulties , such as the situation right now . Because of her reputation as a dumb princess , many servants find it unspecial to treat her like a real princess . She's an adopted one too , if her reputation did not changed, then they would not heed her orders or requests in the future .

Butlers , head maids , imperial chefs , and knights .

If she could dominate them then utilizing her authority she wouldn't encounter more obstacles.  Clarisse Winston was an all-rounder genuis in her previous life , she could use her wisdom and skills here in this world .

Modern knowledge , that's her advantage .

Gaining the favor of the emperor through cuteness? Your mother! That's fictional! The Emperor's motto is ' prove your worth ' he does not need dumb , cute princess who couldn't help the country but only to be married off with a rival empire when there's a turbulence in the politics or government or what .

" Isha , bring me to the library "

" Your Highness , the second prince really went overboard this time . How could he made such move?such a cunning boy even I could tell what is he planning " Kyle , Jenson's Aide , he had a brownish hair and golden eyes .

" I know he's going to use that dumb princess , such a cunning boy . He deserves to be my rival " Jenson

He and his aide walk out from his study after finishing his management . His duties as a crown prince couldn't be belittled , after his paperworks he needs to train daily horseback riding , hunting , managing the sovereign , swordsmanship , concerning himself in the public affairs and stakeholders .

" He does not deserve to become an Emperor , your highness . "

" Oh? I know what you are thinking . But to become an Emperor , one needs strength first . He does qualified in that area , in the era of feudalism . Strong reigned over the weak , A weak Emperor is a waste for a good Empire .   Even if he is the child from the concubine , he still has the title of a prince . His Imperial Majesty raised us princes with a motto of prove your worth amd were still worthless in the eyes of His Imperial Majesty . To become qualified to success his throne , I need to spread my strength first before i concern myself with His Highness Lohr's competition . "

" I will do my best to support you in the sidelines , Your Highness "

" Hmm "

Jenson suddenly stopped her tracks and behold the building located at the left side where the dumb princess entered with her servant . He knitted her brows wondering why the dumb princess would enter a library .

" Check what's she doing "

" Yes , your Highness " Kyle immediately followed the Princess and entered the library .

After a few minutes , Kyle returned with a dumb look on his face . Seeing his expression , Jenson arc up his brows .

" Your Highness , Her highness Clarrise is currently reading the geography of the empire , history , medicine , military , and the contract familiar . " Kiel's mouth twitched

" Her tutor already educated her regarding that object . Yet why did she decided to read those books again. "  Jenson arc up his brows , wondering the Princess' movements .

" This servant does not know too , your highness "

Jenson touched his chin . " She's really dumb , a dumb needs to read a topic twice of that a normal . Forget it , let's go "

The Princess doesn't know that she's been criticized by the Crown Prince again . After she finished reading the books , she pondered about the strangeness of the novel world .

This world has a thing called contract familiar . When a person was born , a familiar then would be contracted from the familiar world . It will fall in slumber during infancy , and will only be awakened when one reached the year of 14 .

Princess Clarisse is already 14 and 6 months this time and she has yet to be awakened . This was also one of the reason she was entitled dumb because she couldn't awaken her familiar .

Prince Lohr is already 14 last month and already awakened his familiar .

The talentless Clarisse was disdained because of this .

" Bullsh*t , that's bulls*they are so judgemental! " Clarisse whispered .

In order to determine wether one was awakened is to check the ring finger if there's a mark that symbolizes one's familiar .

Clarisse does not have one . So unfortunate bullsh*t .

" Hmm , they have not discovered microbiology yet and still haven't produced any drugs like penicillin . People here sure must have been struggling to survive . Survival rate ... Hmm low "

" How did knights survive until today? Doctors right now must be dumb to not know proper hygiene right? Just look at this , the rate which a child could survive until 6 years old is so low . "

" Haish , the hell are these things? Pandemic ... Hoo my goodness , this is like covid-19 in my era before "

" Aaah so dumb , so dumb! "

Isha looked at the Princess who's talking foreign language weirdly . Isha couldn't understand a thing or two . ( Her highness , so scary~)

" Oh god , there's a chemical substance here ! They don't know how to utilize chemical properly! Oh my sulfuric acid , aaaah! Why are you using those things for that . They are the most foundation in the chemical industry from my previous life! Bulls*it , fcc no!... Haha , hahahaha carma! Stupid" 

" This death rate is insane "

Clarisse pondered for a moment . Should she make drugs? Most of the physicians here are using herbs as medicine and she ain't a Chinese traditional doctor from her past life . She's a scientist ... of course she could concoct herbs using a culdron if she wants .
